Config 15 was updated on testnet.
Now validation round is 14400 seconds (4h), elections start 3600 seconds and finish 500 seconds before next round. Stake held for another 3600 seconds after round end.

Please update testnet validators to safer_overlay_plus branch.

Recently testnet lost consensus due to more than 1/3 of the validators were offline/unable to validate the chain. Since this situation has been going on for a long time, we decided to hard fork the network by installing a new set of validators.
Hardfork occured on block 5141579, new config is here.

To run validator/node
1) upgrade(!!!) validator from testnet branch (commit: 33a0d1e)
2) download new config with hardfork
3) run validator

It is expected that in a few days minimal stake for becoming a validator in testnet will be decreased to 30k test coins. Please stay tuned.

Minimal stake is decreased to 30k, however due to max-factor, effective minimal stake is about 40k test coins. If your stake >100k please set max-factor to 30, to not push away small validators.
