Gemini 4 Argon hints emerge as Google tests Carbon checkpoint

Google has added new references to the Gemini 4 Argon model in Antigravity, with low, medium, and high reasoning efforts.

> Gemini web now also shows low, medium, and high reasoning efforts for all models, unifying the reasoning selector across tools.

> Business Insider recently reported that Google employees are already testing the next Gemini 4 checkpoint, called "Carbon," internally, and it performs at the Opus 5.5 level on coding tasks.

> The internal coding tool "Jetsky" referenced in the article is also an internal name for Antigravity (not the IDE version).

OPENAI πŸ”₯: A new gpt-rosalind-discovery model has been spotted on the API pricing page. The model hasn’t been publicly announced so far.

The model has the same pricing as gpt-rosalind-research while its exact purpose is yet unclear.

Should it be specifically a drug discovery model?

That would be huge news πŸ‘€

OpenAI lists new gpt-rosalind-discovery model in docs

OpenAI’s pricing page now lists unannounced gpt-rosalind-discovery beside gpt-rosalind-research at identical rates. The move suggests a broader Rosalind family, likely aimed at biology and drug discovery under trusted access.

Anthropic might be developing its own voice models

ANTHROPIC πŸ”₯: A hidden Voice tab labeled as "Preview" suggests that Claude may offer an upgraded voice experience.

It is still unclear whether Anthropic is developing its own voice models, but a new option to share voice data for training has recently appeared in Claude's mobile apps.

I bet that for Anthropic, having their own voice models is quite important in case they want to continue releasing solutions for "vibe coders."

Or if they want to ship a proactive assistant πŸ‘€

Anthropic tests Claude Health for web and mysterious "iggy"

In addition to a new Voice experience, Anthropic is developing features called "Arborio" and "Iggy."

> Arborio has an icon that likely points to a Claude Health experience for the web (currently available on mobile in the US). It seems to be in development.

> "Iggy" is much more mysterious, as it has a "sun" icon and is labeled as "Preview" currently.

Pure speculation, but it will be a moment for Anthropic to look into "dotsbotsmuse" proactive agents, especially factoring in that they have been experimenting with "Conway" a while ago and have good tech to build this feature on top of Claude Managed Agents.

Fun fact: "Iggy" is the name of one of the example AI agents shown in OpenAI’s Dots launch.

ICYMI πŸ‘€: Codex can now use a reset on its own when users explicitly ask it to do so.

> "Allow Codex to use resets - Give Codex the ability to use a reset when you explicitly request it during a conversation and your current limit has 10% or less remaining. Resets are never used automatically."

This setting is placed in the Usage & billing section.

Gemini 4 Argon spotted in A/B testing on Antigravity

Leaked A/B tests suggest Google’s unreleased Gemini 4 Argon is quietly appearing behind other model names. Early outputs look stronger than Gemini 3.8 Flash, but the exact checkpoint and real-world performance remain unclear.

OPENAI πŸ”₯: GPT-6.1 Sol now has 500k default context length for Codex and ChatGPT Work.

Earlier, default context length was set to 272k.

OpenAI also plans to increase this default value in the future even further.

ChatGPT vs Gemini πŸ‘€

ChatGPT seems to be on a steady growth again for the past 4 months in terms of web traffic share.

ChatGPT went up from 53% to 56% while it is no near 71% it had a year ago.

Gemini went down only from 26% to 25%; Earlier growth last year was a result of Gemini 3 success in particular.

Claude is definitely a sleeping beast over here. If Anthropic will start looking at general consumers as they do at developers, this chart would change quite quickly.

I also feel like average LTV for these users is quite high and majority of people can react to the dynamic of AI progress.

Will we see another big change on this chart any time soon?

ANTHROPIC πŸ”₯: Claude Opus 5.5 is reportedly routed to a different model with much better performance.

Claude Fable 5.5 is a potential candidate for the model behind the scenes, but it remains unknown.

As a side note, Anthropic is hosting a Founder House event in Stockholm this week. Typically, these events aren't used for product announcements but may overlap with showcases of frontier capabilities.
