ChatGPT app for MacOS got updated and it seems that now you can select custom GPTs by typing in the Chat bar widget 👀

However, they are not working if you select to open chats in Companion mode (opening custom GPTs in a main chat works fine)

Not quite sure, why?
- Gemini Live update is about to finish a full rollout on Android and it hasn't been announced yet.
- New Gemini Pro models available in the AI test kitchen in Preview were just announced and there is a chance that Gemini will get an upgrade.

At least we may expect Gemini live for iOS, maybe? And probably a wider rollout of new extensions (Keep, Home, etc)

🚨 BREAKING: GEMs are rolling out globally for Advanced users 👀

Gem manager is available, allowing users to create their GEMs. An official announcement is expected to follow.

Some pre-build GEMs are also available for users to test:
- Brainstormer
- Career guide
- Coding partner
- Learning coach
- Writing editor

Have you tried any of them already?

Some quick notes about GEMs:
- Only Advanced users seem to be able to interact with GEMs and create them
- GEMs creation is quite similar to Custom GPTs or rather Character AI where you can specify a custom prompt and test it

- GEMs don't have access to any functionality atm it seems, like web browsing
- GEMs are not sharable so you need to create your own
- GMEs keep a separate list of past conversations with the GEM

ChatGPT seems to be experiencing some issues at this moment (At least in the EU) 👀👀👀

UPD: Now it is back and working

Imagen3 for Gemini seems to be a part of the today's release as well 🔥

Still not available for me in EU it seems 👀
