Dedicated to the Shugendo / Vajrayana path of Acala worship. Knowing that Lord Acala is an integration of Lord Shiva-Rudra who can guide one to true wisdom and the Dharmakaya

I’m writing this because although I have converted to Buddhism, the religious customs and traditions of my ancestors is still a subject that I’m passionate about. I believe that the doctrine of impermanence, compassion for every sentient being that have been my own mother, the five precepts and so on can syncretise with European culture and be brought into the Buddhadharma. 🐴⚡️☸️

The Lord,
Who is the God of gods,
Who is the lord of the earth,
And who has the bull flag.
What can death do to the one,
Who salutes with his head to the god.
Who is limitless,
Who cannot be explained,
Who is peaceful,
Who is the killer,
And who wears the garland of wrathful eyes.

Most choose not to fight the war of life, they choose suffering instead. The purpose of war is VICTORY.

“A man may conquer a million men in battle, but one who conquers himself is, indeed, the greatest of conquerors.” - Buddha

I draw a limit to upaya-kaushalya (skillful means). That limit is the promotion of adharma or adharmic related dependencies.

This trilogy is a firsthand account from someone who trained with the Aghori. Aghora is an ascetic Shaiva sect, which originated in the ancient Kāpālika Tantric tradition. The name "Aghora" means "without fear".

"Stanza 75. and 76. of the Hávamál compared to the Five Remembrances in the "Subjects of Contemplation" Sutta of the Pali Canon. Pictured third is my own attempt at taking the Hávamál stanza's and translating them conceptually to be a more visceral statement for a modern audience."

Interesting way of correlating the two views.

A term I’m seeing thrown around a lot today, which I don’t think a lot of people truly understand, is “Monism”. Gonna try to put it in simpler terms here…
As a friend defines it; “Monism is a more abstract concept, basically that you believe in a ‘radical unity’, ex. that all things share a common element. One can believe in a primordial god/force and yet not be a monist.”
Belief that the cosmos, and natural world, consists of thousands of elements, including Gods and spirits, which work together to fulfill complimentary functions which uphold the natural order could be considered monism.
A prime example is the Vedic philosophy of Brahman; the belief in an underlying unity of all existence. Monism on its own does not conflict with polytheism and animism, nor is it a complete theological system.

In terms of quality of life, the undisciplined life is much harder than the disciplined one.
