A blessed Parshuram Jayanti to you all!
These days, our world desperately needs Lord Parshuram again. …or at least someone who will follow his example. ᛦ

“It is such a mistake to assume that practicing dharma will help us calm down and lead an untroubled life; nothing could be further from the truth. Dharma is not a therapy. Quite the opposite, in fact; dharma is tailored specifically to turn your life upside down—it’s what you sign up for. So when your life goes pear-shaped, why do you complain? If you practice and your life fails to capsize, it is a sign that what you are doing is not working. This is what distinguishes the dharma from New Age methods involving auras, relationships, communication, well-being, the Inner Child, being one with the universe, and tree hugging. From the point of view of dharma, such interests are the toys of samsaric beings—toys that quickly bore us senseless.”

I feel like half of their stories are made up nonsense to justify adharmic or anti Indo-European/anti Vedic beliefs.
I'm not against folk lore or all Puranic literature, but I think accepting it all as Arya/Vedic or Holy scripture is a mistake. One can be both reverent and discerning. In addition those who instantly put up any text or scripture from the East, be it a sutra / Puranic scripture, Chinese teaching, Avestan, or Suffi as above Western European Pagan understand (Celto-Germanic/ Greco-Roman) are very much mistaken and are burning their own branches before they can even reconnect to the root.

If you are looking for prayers to say to the Gods today or words to meditate upon. Here are a few for you. Replace the names with your own Indo-European cognate if you will. However, I prefer Sanskrit names or Germanic as both feel closer to Proto-Indo-European in my Perosnal faith.

Say these with libation and a candle offering at minimum for ritual today.

Hail the God!
May they bring you strength, resolve, and solace today.

It is said the famous and very influential Japanese Vajrayana priest & founder of Shingon, Kūkai, arranged Kana in a phonic syllabary to make Sanskrit pronunciation & mantra recital. This would mean the Japanese had an Indo-European influence in its language.
The Sanskrit writing that Kūkai would have been familiar with is that which used the Siddham script.
