RANT TIME!
I've been saying for a full decade now that Hollywood has two popular hacks that get a cart blanche on any bullshit they want to pull and it's Christopher Nolan and Quentin Tarantino.
It seems that this comment section finally sees what I'm talking about.

Nobody in their right mind would call Paul Dano a weak actor in either "There Will Be Blood" or SAG, since it's objectively false to anyone who has functioning eyes and ears and it speaks a lot to what Tarantino is as an artist โ€” a weak, washed out loser long past his prime who hasn't been sincere since Reservoir Dogs. Both directors exist to fulfill a newfound niche of "artsy bullshit with "Fast and Furious" levels of depth"

I'm not saying that if you like their movies you should stop. God forbid, I don't give a fuck and world is as horrible already to be stripped away of art that speaks out to you. I do however invite you, on your next re-watch of either of their movies to interface with them for what they are and not what you expect of them.

These three images were side by side in my gallery and it feels like a certain vibe I can't really put my finger on.
