Moonly — uses sidereal astro, but has great articles about spirituality and astrology, gives advices on how to spend the day, meditations, daily affirmation, daily tarot and even runes 💕 also has a beautiful interface
Time Nomad — my go-to to draw a chart, has natal, transit, solar return, synastry and other types of charts — and you can also add as many people as you want in your list of charts
The Pattern — personally I don’t use it often, but it has nice interpretations of your chart and really good synastry interpretations. Also shows major transits and how they affect the world as a whole
Labyrinthos — my favorite mobile deck, and it was also my first 🥹
It actually has several decks! Also a great tool to learn tarot — you have an avatar, like a tamagotchi, and as you learn, he grows with you — from the Fool to the World

Chart ruler 👑

your chart ruler is as important (if not more) as your ascendant/rising sign.
it defines what themes will be prominent in your life and influences how your asc shows up in your chart

to find your chart ruler, you have to look what planet rules your ascendant sign

for instance, for me, a cancer ascendant, the chart ruler is the Moon 🌙 My Moon is in Pisces ♓️ so I’ll have the Pisces sign traits, the Moon cycle will influence me a lot, and I’ll be highly emotional (all true)

The ruling planets for other signs (in modern astrology) are:
♈️ Aries — Mars
♉️Taurus & ♎️ Libra — Venus
♊️ Gemini & ♍️ Virgo — Mercury
♋️ Cancer — the Moon
♌️ Leo — the Sun
♏️ Scorpio — Pluto
♐️ Sagittarius — Jupiter
♑️ Capricorn — Saturn
♒️ Aquarius — Uranus
♓️ Pisces — Neptune

In traditional astrology, Pluto, Uranus and Neptune do not count, so the rulers for Scorpio, Aquarius and Pisces will be Mars, Saturn and Jupiter respectively. Thus, in traditional astrology, Aries and Scorpio share the same ruler, as do Capricorn and Aquarius and Sagittarius and Pisces ✨
