anyways, burning them was exciting and looking at the intricate shapes of the flames, trying to decipher the messages in them is something I enjoyed thoroughly
the protection candle is really great to let go of the fears that bind you, giving you a sense of strength and confidence and the ancestral candle is something so intimate raising thoughts about your lineage and the way you’re shaped by the experiences of your older family members, it really makes room for you to remember your roots and the love and support of those who raised you

ofc all my plans for lighting them on my birthday and on Samhain went out of the window, but we embrace chaos in this house🔥
