I actually believe they were onto something, because winter months are always challenging for me emotionally. So, I decided that this time I’ll ask for protection, too. Sounds grand, and it’s something I’ve never done before — at least, not this way, so I’m very curious 👀

Besides creating an altar with hand-picked acorns (they grow near where I work!) and other items I listed in the post, I ordered candles that are charged for protection and connecting with ancestors 💞
The candles are made by wonderful Maria, who once have done a reading for me — and whose affirmation I still use from time to time (it actually helped me relax and trust the process more)

I’m very big on rituals, and I believe in the power of intentions, so I’m really looking forward to seeing these candles — and showing it to you all, of course!!
