As pioneers of the local vintage clothing industry, Loop Garms and STAKEOUT always have their fingers 👆on the pulse of sustainable fashion. Arts Week Student’s Tea with Snakeweed Studios & nkei
Wednesday 13 March 6-7pm @ Reading Room
The local music scene would be nothing without Snakeweed Studios (Leonard and Josh). With services ranging from producing to livesounding and recording, the local industry giant has played an integral role in shaping Singapore's music industry into what it is today.
Ian Lee has been making waves as one-half of the singing, songwriting, and producing duo nkei. Beyond that, he is also the founder of PK Records, an up-and-coming creative music production house which houses artists like Rhyu and Alicia DC.
Both Snakeweed Studios and Ian are here to share more about the inner workings of the music industry, with a particular emphasis on performance and mixing!

Leonard Soosay is arguably one of the most significant figures in Singapore’s music industry, he is responsible for over 500 domestic releases over the last two decades. Internationally, he has worked on commission remixes for artists such as David Bowie and John Lennon 🤯, and composed many of the ringtones found in Nokia mobile phones 📞
Josh Wei is a record producer and songwriter. He is responsible for some of the biggest pop records to come out of Singapore, including ‘At Least I Had You’ by JJ Lin & Gentle Bones. He also worked with JYP’s Stray Kids on ‘Sunshine’ and recently collaborated with Sorn & Seungyeon on ‘Rowdy’! 😱
