tl;dr: Since I purely do art from commission to pay my bills, this is a way to fund more personal work (art of my characters or characters I like) without having to pay full commission price. You can donate whatever you want to a pool, and if enough people donate to it, I draw that pic in place of a commission that round. It's like a wishing fountain to throw spare change into :3

Sorry there's been no art lately. Work hours picked up just for this week (bi-annual inventory so everyone is working weird long overnight shifts) and I've been trying to lock in with school to finish this class a week early so I can have the next two weeks free to draw.

I'll do better...

Yeah so...it turns out that turning off my ADHD via medication is surreal. My brain is silent, it's just gone. But I've learned that my normal impulsiveness that motivates me to do things is also gone. I actually have to say "I'm going to do this thing" and then go do it. I always did art on a whim, and I could sort of control the whim by making my environment favorable for my brain to go "YEAH ART WOOOO!" Now there's just nothing, and I have to now completely rebuild my habits and motivators. I've never experienced such nothingness in my life. Even my emotions are nothing, I don't get as mad at things or as sad or as excited. It's really easy to spend hours sitting in silence because I just never experienced it before. True actual silence. No thoughts. Just nothing.

Thankfully, when I DO say "I want to do this thing," it's easier than ever to just do it. I don't feel like it's a constant multi-hour long fight with myself to do something. It's just done. I finally was able to get myself drawing again the last few days, just bam, tablet out, draw.

I appreciate that you guys are still here, I know I've been absent. I didn't expect medication to be this life-altering. Everything is so different. I'm just learning to adjust still. It gets better every day. I learn and realize more every day. I hope this all leads to a much better change in myself and my productivity.
