Third Place for TECVICO in HECKTOR
HECKTOR Challenge is a major scientific and research call in the field of imaging head and neck tumors held by MICCAI.
This challenge has been held twice so far, and registration for the third time will begin soon. On this occasion, TECVICO invites all scientists and researchers interested in the field to join TECVICO team and participate in this challenge
Tecvico competed for the first time in HECKTOR challenge as the Qurit Tecvico team, which resulted in being awarded the 3rd place in the competition.

TECVICO Signs Another Agreement
Following its policy of industry-university cooperation, and with the aim of creating and expanding the horizons of understanding between state-of-art technology, data science, and research, TECVICO signs another agreement with Azad University.
TECVICO research and projects support a wide range of disciplines, including medicine, electricity, mechanics, medical physics, and more. Working closely with research and industrial teams, TECVICO develops advanced designs for research projects to promote science-based ideas and technologies.
Following its policy of industry-university cooperation, and with the aim of creating and expanding the horizons of understanding between state-of-art technology, data science, and research, TECVICO signs another agreement with Azad University.
TECVICO research and projects support a wide range of disciplines, including medicine, electricity, mechanics, medical physics, and more. Working closely with research and industrial teams, TECVICO develops advanced designs for research projects to promote science-based ideas and technologies.

Multi-Modality Fusion Coupled with Hybrid Machine Learning Systems for Improved Prediction of TNM Staging in Lung Cancer
The tumor, node, metastasis (TNM) staging system enables clinicians to describe the spread of lung cancer in a specific manner to assist with the assessment of disease status, prognosis, and management. The aim of this study is to predict TNM staging for lung cancer via Hybrid Machine Learning Systems (HMLSs) and radiomics features. In this study, 200 patients have extracted from the Cancer-Imaging-Archive (TCIA) database, derived in a multi-center setting. PET images will be registered to CT, enhanced, and cropped. This project will utilize multiple HMLSs including multiple feature extraction (FEA) / feature-selection-algorithms (FSA) linked with several classifiers optimized by grid-search approach, with model training, fine-tuning, and selection (5-fold-cross-validation).
