Big update: Android apps are finally going to be lighter and faster!
- Big AI servers are taking all the memory chips, so upcoming budget phones will launch with less RAM.
- To stop these phones from hanging, Google is making strict rules on how much memory apps can use.
- App developers have time till February 2027 to fix their apps so they run smoothly on less RAM.
The days of heavy, unoptimized apps slowing down our smartphones may finally be over.

Google Tensor G6 (featured on the Pixel 11 Series) Performance Evaluation:
The Performance of the CPU is similar to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (launched back in 2023) & it's slightly below the level of A17 Pro of the same Iteration.
The Performance of the GPU is similar to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (launched back in 2022) & beats the A16's GPU by a small Margin of the same Iteration.
It's far below the level of Performance offered by Snapdragon, Apple & Mediatek of the current generation if compared. Even if it's compared against the Previous Generation it's still a long way to go for the Tensor. The New Generation is just around the corner & the Gap will widen even more.

Apple reportedly tested a shorter Apple Pencil for its upcoming foldable iPhone, internally called as “iPhone Ultra.” ✏️📱
But the Pencil created a major problem: it could prevent the phone from folding completely flat and potentially damage the delicate inner display.
Apple ultimately shelved the idea.
So, for now, the foldable iPhone will launch without Apple Pencil support. 👀
Interestingly, this comes despite the larger screen potentially making a stylus more useful.
Apple has historically avoided bringing stylus support to the iPhone, with Steve Jobs famously dismissing the idea: “Who wants a stylus? Yuck!” 👀😅
So even with a foldable iPhone, Apple appears to be sticking with finger touch for now.

According to market intelligence firm Sensor Tower, Grand Theft Auto VI has already reached around 4.6M pre-orders ahead of its November 19, 2026 release on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
