New US pricing:
🎮 Xbox Series S (512GB): $499.99 (+$100)
🎮 Xbox Series S (1TB): $549.99 (+$100)
🎮 Xbox Series X Digital: $749.99 (+$150)
🎮 Xbox Series X: $799.99 (+$150)

Microsoft says the decision was driven by soaring storage and memory costs, which have surged due to AI demand.

BREAKING: Apple is making one of the biggest changes ever to its Mac chip roadmap.

Apple is expected to launch the base M6 chip later this year, but unlike every previous generation, there will be no M6 Pro or M6 Max.

Instead, Apple plans to jump straight to M7 Pro and M7 Max in 2027 as it accelerates its AI roadmap.

The base M7 is expected in the first half of 2027, followed by M7 Pro and M7 Max later that year. M7 Ultra is currently planned for 2028.

Apple is also still expected to release one final M5 chip later this year: the M5 Ultra, with up to 36 CPU cores, 80 GPU cores and support for as much as 768GB of unified memory.

~200GB/s memory bandwidth (up from ~153GB/s on M5)
- Redesigned GPU with up to 12 cores
- Faster Neural Engine
- Better CPU performance
- Improved video encoding/decoding

The base M7 is expected in H1 2027, bringing another jump to around 240GB/s memory bandwidth with an even bigger focus on on-device AI.

List of total number of price hikes by smartphone brands till date:

• realme hiked the prices for 124 times (highest till date)
• Vivo hiked it for 56 and OPPO 40 times
• Motorola has the highest average increase: 26.8% followed by realme at 24.2%
• Tecno has the fewest price hikes (9 times)

Brands are launching at one price & quietly raising it later. I wish they announces the hikes publicly instead.

Micron CEO Sanjay Mehrotra says the company still doesn't have a clear line of sight on when memory supply will catch up with demand.

"We expect tight conditions to persist beyond calendar 2027 as a result of AI-driven demand across all segments coupled with structural supply constraints
