If you're tackling last week's tasks on Monday, you're not starting your week; you're just finishing your last one. Your work week really starts on Friday—that's when you should've done this stuff!
Reflections and Advice for Junior Developers
1. Nobody cares about your code style if the feature is late
2. Stop chasing frameworks like fashion trends.
3. Imposter syndrome never fully goes away.
4. Debugging is 80% of your job.
5. Tech changes, but problem-solving stays.

X says it’s reducing payments to clickbait accounts
X says it is reducing payments to accounts that rely on clickbait and mass reposting, aiming to improve content quality and better reward original creators. The move follows concerns that “flooding the timeline” with sensational or recycled posts crowds out genuine voices and harms new creator growth.
Under the changes, aggregator accounts, those that repost news or viral content without adding value have already seen payouts cut significantly, with further reductions planned. The platform insists it will not limit speech or reach, but will stop financially rewarding manipulation of its monetization system.
The shift has sparked backlash from some users who say they were demonetized unexpectedly. Still, X is developing tools to better identify and compensate original content creators, signaling a broader effort to discourage engagement farming and prioritize authenticity.

🚀 Handling the Emotional Rollercoaster as a Senior Developer
Big challenges can trigger that up-and-down feeling — excitement one moment, stress the next. Here are 5 ways to stay steady:
1️⃣ Normalize the struggle – Big challenges mean you’re growing.
2️⃣ Break it down – Turn big problems into smaller, solvable tasks.
3️⃣ Detach your identity – Failure is feedback, not a verdict on your skills.
4️⃣ Anchor yourself – Short reset rituals (walk, breathe, journal, workout).
5️⃣ Share, don’t shoulder – Discuss with peers, don’t carry it all alone.
👉 Growth always comes with discomfort. The key isn’t to avoid the feelings, but to manage them so they don’t derail you.

I realized that you must master one skill before chasing others, because true progress comes from depth, not distraction. Once you’ve built a strong foundation in one area, related skills become 𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙚𝙧 and more meaningful to learn.

Max Hodak’s Science Corp. is preparing to place its first sensor in a human brain
Max Hodak’s startup, Science Corp., is preparing to implant its first brain sensor in a human, marking a key step into clinical trials and the broader brain-computer interface race. The small, pea-sized device sits on the brain’s surface rather than penetrating tissue and contains hundreds of electrodes to record neural activity.
Initially, the sensor will be tested during existing brain surgeries. Its early purpose is therapeutic: delivering gentle electrical stimulation to damaged brain or spinal cord cells to promote healing.
Researchers also hope it can monitor brain activity in conditions like tumors and warn of seizures.
Led with guidance from a Yale neurosurgeon, the effort reflects a growing shift toward less invasive neural implants. If successful, the technology could expand treatments for neurological disorders and advance human–computer brain interfaces.
