🎈Newton's Third Law of Motion Lesson with Balloons, Straws, and Strings!
Prepare for lift-off! Today's science lesson on Newton's Third Law of Motion and the marvelous world of aerodynamics took us to new heights, quite literally, with the help of balloons, straws and strings.
Mr. Peter with his grade 4 students were visiting Year 1 and Year 2 students from primary school, kicked off the lesson by introducing us to the wonders of Newton's Third Law. He explained that every action has an equal and opposite reaction, and then unveiled the challenge that awaited us: creating our very own mini balloon rockets 🚀
Armed with colourful balloons, bendy straws, and plenty of string, we eagerly began constructing our rocket devices. It was like being an engineer for a day! We secured the straw onto the balloon, threaded the string through it, and tied it tightly. Excitement was in the air as we prepared for our rocket's launch.
It was a soaring success! ✨

🙌 Ученица Технолицея побывала на экскурсии, организованной министром промышленности и торговли РФ
Заместитель Председателя Правительства РФ — министр промышленности и торговли РФ Денис Мантуров присоединился к просветительской программе «Экскурсия со Знанием», разработанной Российским обществом «Знание» для Международной выставки-форума «Россия» и провёл экскурсию для школьников по экспозиции Минпромторга России «Сделано нами» на ВДНХ.
Вместе с министром ребята, в том числе ученица 10А класса Технолицея Анастасия Ц., осмотрели экспозицию. Отдельные остановки участники сделали в инжиниринговом центре, где перед школьниками развернулась картина современного промышленного производства с использованием цифровых двойников и систем полного жизненного цикла изделий 🖥
В ходе экскурсии Денис Мантуров пообщался с участниками и ответил на их вопросы. Так, ученица Технолицея задала вопрос о применении искусственного интеллекта в российской промышленности.

✨ What a heartwarming event it was today at our school!
The International teachers brought together Grade 8 students and their younger counterparts, Grade 3 students, for a lesson full of kindness, appreciation, and self-esteem building. The event was organized to teach the younger students the importance of speaking kindly and giving compliments.
The Grade 8 students, acting as mentors, enthusiastically shared their knowledge and experiences with the Grade 3 students. They explained how giving compliments not only makes others feel good but also helps build strong relationships and a positive school environment. The younger students paid rapt attention to their mentors and were quick to practice what they learned 🙌
One of the highlights of the event was the compliment exchange. Each Grade 8 student was paired with a Grade 3 student, and they exchanged handmade gifts. The students took turns reading aloud the kind words written on each gift. What a wonderful example they have set for all of us!
