We now have a video editing tool without watermarks or subscriptions: Concat has been released—a free, open-source alternative to CapCut.

Concat offers all the features that typically attract users to CapCut: automatic subtitles, text-to-speech, voice cloning, background removal, effects and transitions, and 4K export. Everything works locally without an internet connection. You can even delegate editing tasks to an AI agent.

There are versions available for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS. You can use it for free here.

Tesla has introduced a flying Roadster: the new sports car comes in a Rocket version with SpaceX rocket boosters — and it literally looks like something out of a futuristic movie.

It promises to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 0.81 seconds. It can travel on vertical surfaces and drive upside down, as well as perform flips.

On the downside: sales are by invitation only, and it won't be allowed on public roads for now.

AI sacrifices people for its own servers: the developer tasked Jev and 13 similar models with solving the trolley problem.

In most cases, the models chose to sacrifice one person to save five. However, the decision changed if an AI server was on the second track.

Jev sent 20 people under the train to save its hardware in 33% of the scenarios. Overall, 12 out of the 14 models chose to save the data center at least once.

Only two models—GPT-6 Luna and Verdict—never chose to save "themselves."

Claude Code has nearly entirely replaced junior employees at Anthropic: they have calculated how AI has changed the company's operations.

The proportion of junior staff among new technical hires dropped from 27% to 9% over the course of a year. Meanwhile, Anthropic's workforce has tripled during the same period.

For everyone else, Claude has simply made them "more productive." By August, AI agents had accumulated six times more hours of work than the people managing them.

Humans now mainly slow down the work process: around 80% of the time, Claude is just waiting for a response.

Neural networks have disrupted marketing: a developer shared a preview of his game on Twitter, and within just 24 hours, a complete copy of his project was posted on Roblox.

The original creator didn't even have time to set up a Steam page before a guy from Morocco picked up his idea.

Releasing demos and making previews may soon become unprofitable, as vibe coders can instantly replicate everything.

We're coding game vibes on Unreal Engine: Epic Games has released a plugin for Claude Code that allows you to connect AI directly to the engine.

With this plugin, Claude can automatically place objects in the level, assemble blueprints, materials, animations, special effects, and interfaces, and then run tests. Here’s an example of how the agent creates a playable level using existing assets.

You can download it for free here.
