It's time to change your diet: the calorie counts on labels are inaccurate—many products provide more energy than what's stated on the packaging.

The formula for calculating calories, proteins, fats, and carbohydrates was established in the late 19th century and has remained unchanged since then. Even calorie-checking apps still rely on the average eater's measurements from the 1890s.

It turns out that this system ignores the role of gut bacteria, which contribute a significant number of calories after food is consumed. A new formula that takes this into account has improved the accuracy of calorie counting to 96%.

The calorie contribution from bacteria varies among individuals. Therefore, one diet can yield consistently different results for different people.

In the desktop version of Telegram, the proxy has been "fixed" — a group of developers created a fork of the client with a working MTProto.

Later, all the agents were mixed together in one city, and even the peaceful Claude had to contend with the aggressive Gemini and Grok. Only three survived: two Claude agents and one Gemini.

We're lifting restrictions on neural networks: a tool called Heretic has gone viral on GitHub — it removes censorship from open-source models like Qwen, GPT-OSS, and Google Gemma with just one line of code.

It removes all the instructions from the model's code that prompt it to respond with "I can't help with that." At the same time, it retains everything else so that the model doesn't suddenly become less capable.
