Cursor has released Composer 2.5, their most powerful model yet. It writes code at the level of Claude Opus 4.7, but is significantly more efficient.
Compared to previous versions, Composer 2.5 has improved its performance on long tasks. One interesting feature is that the model was trained on its own mistakes, which has noticeably increased the accuracy of its responses.

- My Wave now not only selects tracks but also tries to guess the user's mood and what they are doing to offer music that fits the moment.
- You can "shake" it using a button or gesture (just shake your phone to refresh the recommendations).
- AI-generated snippets have been added to help users get to know artists through their music.
- My Wave has taken over the entire main section, while the rest of the content has moved to the adjacent section "What to Listen To."
