📊 Nonfarm Payrolls increased by 162K, well above the 56K forecast, while unemployment remained at 4.1%. The stronger labor market increased expectations of a potential Fed rate hike at the September meeting, with market pricing moving toward the 60% area.

📈 U.S. Treasury yields moved higher, while the dollar initially strengthened as traders reassessed the Fed's policy path. Attention now turns to upcoming U.S. inflation data, which could be crucial for the September rate decision.

Oil remains strongly supported as escalating U.S.–Iran tensions raise fresh concerns over supply disruptions through the Strait of Hormuz.

Brent crude moved toward $97, while WTI approached $92 after another round of attacks involving vessels in and around the Strait.

Gold, meanwhile, remains sensitive to the competing forces of higher yields, Fed expectations and geopolitical risk. The metal was holding around $4,426 early Monday after finding support near $4,282 last week.
