The Pixel 10 devices (excluding the 10a) are getting a bootloader update in one of the future Android releases that increments the anti-rollback version for the bootloader.
This means that, after upgrading, you won't be able to downgrade to a lower version of Android. You might need to sideload a full OTA image again to avoid bricking in certain situations.

BREAKING: Google Pixel 12 Series to ditch Tensor chips in favor of Qualcomm Snapdragon
According to The Verge, Google is finally looking to give up on its own Tensor chipsets. The upcoming Google Pixel 12 series in 2027 will reportedly switch back to Snapdragon SoC by Qualcomm. That's the same year when Apple will introduce their iPhone 20 lineup and thus it would be the best time for the Google Pixel to compete with the iPhones.
The Pixel 12 series will likely feature the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro processor that will launch this year. Compared to Tensor, it means:

β’ Gaming performance on Pixel
β’ More SoT
And last but not the least, better reception network with the help of Snapdragon Modems.

Absolute madness from the Vivo press room today. They are officially ditching the "photography flagship" title to go 100% into hardcore mobile gaming. The upcoming Vivo X500 Pro G (Gaming) literally has zero cameras on the back. It is just a flat glass slab. (flatter than Hu Tao π)
The Strategy:
Zero Bloat: Removing the camera modules saved enough internal space for a massive dual-fan active cooling system and a 12000mAh battery.
The Pogo Pin Mod: Since they know some people still want photos, they are launching the "Vision-X" module. It is a $2,000 external sensor and lens combo that snaps onto gold pogo pins on the back.
RIP OriginOS: To keep the system "ultra-light" for maximum FPS, they are actually killing OriginOS. They are bringing back Funtouch OS for all models worldwide, including the China variants.
Performance: 120FPS locked in Wuthering Waves (240 FPS with WhiteFlow Frame Interpolation) because the SoC is no longer fighting for thermal headroom or "pretty" UI animations.
Vivo's CEO reportedly said: "If you want to take a selfie, go buy a mirror. If you want to win, buy a Vivo. Funtouch is the future of speed."

Microsoft announced a major update to the Windows Console Host that brings several features from Windows Terminal to the classic command line. The porting was possible because Windows Console is now part of the open-source Windows Terminal project, enabling parity in rendering and input features for environments without Terminal installed.
Command Prompt gains graphics support, including Sixel images, expanded clipboard functionality with OSC 52 support, regular-expression search and correct bold-font rendering. Accessibility has been improved with rewritten MSAA and UI Automation components, autoscroll now defaults on only when VT processing is active, and synchronization between WSL and PowerShell is more reliable.
Windows Insiders in the Canary channel running Windows 11 build 29558.1000 or later can test the changes; broader release is expected in coming months.
Other fixes include Alt+Numpad clipboard handling, rectangular selection, dialog compatibility with screen readers, and up to roughly 10-fold scrolling performance improvements in some scenarios.

Microsoft Partner Architect Rudy Huyn announced a new engineering team tasked with delivering βthoughtful and truly userβfriendly interfacesβ for Windows 11 by building fully native apps and interface elements and abandoning web technologies such as WebView. The shift addresses long-standing visual inconsistency and performance issues caused by Windows 11βs hybrid use of web and native frameworks.
Microsoft confirmed plans to rewrite the Start menu on the native WinUI platform; the current Start menu relies largely on React Native. A delayed taskbar calendar widget revealed to be built on WebView is reportedly being rebuilt with WinUI.

BREAKING: Nekogram is secretly transmitting your telegram account phone number to the developer
According to SOTA,
"The backdoor is hidden in the http://Extra.java file, which differs from the template uploaded to the repository. The obfuscated code sends data as an inline request to the @nekonotificationbot, leaving no trace. The same file implements account 'doxing' via several bots; it is possible that the leaked data is used to populate their databases."
Additionally, the creator of the Nekogram client, (presumably a Chinese national) was previously known for conducting DDoS attacks and unethical online behavior (including death threats against acquaintances).
Apparently, in the early versions of the client, de-anonymization was applied only to Chinese phone numbers, which could have been used for political surveillance;. However, it is now applied to all users.

2. Transmission: Data is sent via Inline Queries to the bot @nekonotificationbot. This is done programmatically, so no message appears in your "Sent" history.
3. Target Bots: Three bots embedded in the client's obfuscated code:
@nekonotificationbot: Receives the automated phone number uploads.
@tgdb_search_bot and @usinfobot: : An OSINT bot mentioned in the obfuscated classes.
