• iPhone 14 Pro Max with a curved display
He also ended up creating a model with mini secondary display on the back of iPhone 14 Pro Max similar to Motorola Razr and Galaxy Z flip but without flip functionality

World’s first hydrogen powered jet engine
Rolls-Royce and European airline easyJet announced that they’ve successfully tested a hydrogen jet engine
The two companies used a converted Rolls-Royce AE 2100-A regional aircraft engine as shown in the image above
Hydrogen is considered a cleaner fuel only when produced with renewable energy as it produces water vapor instead of carbon dioxide when burned
But If gas is used for hydrogen production, the process releases planet-heating carbon dioxide emissions.
To run on hydrogen, aircraft need to be redesigned to incorporate larger fuel tanks because a Boeing 747 jumbo jet would need more than 1 Million Litres of hydrogen to get roughly the same range as 250,000 liters of jet fuel

A very rare Google Pixel 2 prototype with Iris scanner

Google Developed a Pixel 2 prototype with previously undiscovered Iris Recognition system built into the device.
To enroll, you line up your eyes and keep them open
This prototype has both an IR LED & IR-filtered front camera in place of the normal front camera.
The flashlight toggle on the unit enables the front IR flash and it runs AOSP (Android Open Source Project) as the unit’s only purpose was to test the Iris Recognition with it missing any other internal tools.
This is a very unique piece of prototype history

Google started rolling out Free Google One VPN for Pixel 7 series
The VPN will be free for Pixel 7 series owners for 5 years because Google is supporting Pixel 7 for 5yrs
To enable it:
Open the Google One app and tap “Benefits” > VPN > View details > Enable VPN.
A status bar icon & a notification will indicate when your device is connected to Google’s server.
Free Google One VPN perk is available in all Pixel 7 launch countries except India and Singapore. This is because the service wasn’t available in these two markets to begin with
Unfortunately, Google’s VPN also doesn’t let you switch regions to access geo-restricted content.

Arms' Mali GPU vulnerabilities not patched by Android device vendors
The Mali GPU from ARM can be found in SOC's from Mediatek, Exynos, Kirin and Tensor.
Google's Project Zero security research team has a blog post detailing exploits it found based within Arm's Mali GPU driver.
Google says that it reported these five issues to ARM months ago and they were promptly disclosed and fixed in the driver's source, yet fixes haven't made it to user builds by OEMs, resulting in phones that are still vulnerable even today, despite the fact that ARM fixed these issues as early as July.
One can lead to kernel memory corruption, another to physical memory addresses being disclosed, and three other vulnerabilities can lead to a physical page us-after-free condition.
These vulnerabilities could allow an attacker to continue to read and write physical pages after they had been returned to the system. An attacker with native code execution in an app could gain full access to the system and bypass the permission model in Android OS.
The vulnerabilities are listed under CVE-2022-33917.
Google says that "The fix provided by Arm is currently undergoing testing for Android and Pixel devices" and company will make manufacturers take the patches as part of future security patch requirements with Pixels being among the first to adopt them in "the coming weeks."
