BREAKING: GitHub will begin charging for self-hosted action runners from March 2026

On January 1, 2026, GitHub will reduce the price of GitHub-hosted runners by up to 39% depending on the machine type used. The free usage minute quotas will remain the same.
On March 1, 2026, GitHub will introduce a new $0.002 per minute GitHub Actions cloud platform charge that will apply to self-hosted runner usage. Any usage subject to this charge will count toward the minutes included in your plan as explained in GitHub Actions billing documentation.
Runner usage in public repositories will remain FREE. There will be no changes in price structure for GitHub Enterprise Server customers.

The developer of an app, whose selling point is end-to-end encryption which would make it more difficult for UK security and intelligence agencies to monitor communications. It is a reasonable assumption that this would be in the interests of a foreign state even though the foreign state has never contemplated this potential advantage

OnePlus has launched 15R in India and unlike the 13R which has a 50MP 2X Telephoto sensor, OnePlus has completely removed it. Yes, the 15R sucks the same in camera like the flagship OnePlus 15, when compared to the 13R and 13. Also, USB-C 2.0 still remains the same.
Apart from the camera, the display is also downgraded to cope with 165Hz refresh rate. While the 13R comes with superior BOE X1 8T LTPO AMOLED offering 1~120hz variable refresh rate, the successor 15R features a LTPS Tianma panel & offers just 5 fixed refresh steps — 60/ 90/ 120Hz/ 144Hz/ 165Hz.
OnePlus 15R is the rebranded OnePlus Ace 6T of China. While the Ace 6T in China which was launched just 2 weeks ago comes in the 16GB RAM variant, OnePlus has launched the 15R in only 12GB RAM because the RAM shortages only happen globally and in India for OnePlus. Apart from the RAM, the battery is also downgraded when compared to its Chinese counterpart.
Ace 6T: 8300mAh Si/C battery
15R: 7400mAh battery
In theory, Ace 6T can offer extra 2hrs battery while costing just 370$ for 12GB + 256GB model which the OnePlus sells in India for Rs. 47,999 (~530$).

We have real costs in running the Actions control plane. We are also making investments into self-hosted runners so they work at scale in customer environments, particularly for complex enterprise scenarios. While this context matters, we missed the mark with this change by not including more of you in our planning.

OnePlus practically has a new phone launch every other month next year like Xiaomi dumps on Earth.
Apparently, OnePlus will launch a phone with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 "Pro" after already launching phones with Snapdragon 8 Elite aka Ace 6, Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 aka 15R or Ace 6T and 8 Elite Gen 5 aka OnePlus 15.
Also, similar to Xiaomi in how they copied Apple for the "Pro Max", OnePlus will also debut a phone with "Pro Max" naming scheme
The OnePlus 15 series is already heavily downgraded in both cameras and display while getting more expensive and now we have many more useless phones coming from them.

None of the paid Youtubers and reviewers will tell you this that the OnePlus 15R aka Ace 6 with only a different processor features a Tianma panel LTPS display and offers 165Hz refresh rate.
But it looks like OnePlus simply overclocked the display to cope with 165Hz refresh rate as the display flickers really badly which can severely damage your eyes if you try to use it at night in the dark environment and at low brightness.
