Here's why you should not consider buying OnePlus 15
As you have noticed, OnePlus 15 is more expensive than last year's Oneplus 13. Apparently, before the launch, OnePlus India was running paid campaigns by paying your favourite youtubers to talk about the price increase & they justified it by talking about RAM, storage and SoC price increase. Due to components getting expensive, the justification make sense as all smartphones irrespective of brand will increase the pricing of their upcoming flagship devices.
However, OnePlus also restricted the youtubers by paying them to NOT talk about the downgrades, especially in the camera department and the haptics/vibrations. So not only OnePlus 15 is overpriced, its also downgraded than OnePlus 13 and they are as follows:
1. CAMERA (OnePlus 13)
• 50MP main (LYT-T 808, 1/1.4, OIS)
• 50MP Ultrawide (JN5); 2.5cm macro
• 50MP 3X Telephoto (LYT-600; 1/1.95 OIS)
OnePlus 15:
• 50MP main (IMX 906, 1/1.56, OIS)
• 50MP Ultrawide (OV50D)
• 50MP 3X Telephoto (JN5; 1/2.75, OIS)
IMX 906 is used in mid-range devices the Galaxy A55, Xiaomi 14T and OnePlus is using on their flagship 15
2. HAPTICS
OP 13: AAC CSA+0916 Turbo (602mm²)
OP 15: AAC ESA1016 (560mm²)
3. BOTTOM SPEAKERS
OP 13: AAC 1115E (11x15=165mm²)
OP 15: AAC 1510 (10x15=150mm²)
4. MICROPHONES
OP 13: 4 mics
OP 15: 3 mics
5. DISPLAY RESOLUTION
OP 13: 6.82" (3168×1440 px) 2K+
OP 15: 6.78" (2772x1272 px) 1.5K
6. NFC
OP 13: Full-area NFC
OP 15: Normal area NFC
Miscellaneous Downgrades:
7. The touch IC is weakened and downgraded from 3910p to 3910v
8. Ambient light sensor has been reduced to 2 from 4 in OnePlus 13
9. The Alert Slider has been replaced with independent switch like in iPhones

RIP Native WhatsApp for Windows.
WhatsApp for Windows now uses 1GB RAM all the time.
The native WhatsApp for Windows is still available, however, it now simply loads web.whatsapp.com in a WebView2 container. WhatsApp for Windows was originally an Electron app, and it was eventually replaced with UWP after years of investment. Four years later, WhatsApp is going back to WebView2, abandoning the original WinUI/UWP native idea.
Acc. to tests done by Windowslatest, this new Chromium/WebView2-based WhatsApp for Windows 11 uses up to 300MB of RAM when you are on the login screen and doing nothing. After logging in, its memory usage increased to 2GB while trying to load all my chats. On average, it used 1.2GB when left idle in the background.
On the other hand, the old/native WhatsApp uses just 190MB most of the time, dropping to less than 100MB when it’s completely idle. At worst, it would reach 300MB, which can happen only when the chat is really active. Meta will soon force all users to logged out eventually use the WebView2-based WhatsApp.

To all those who argue that its not an accidental release by Google, well it was not meant to be released publicly because all the links point to a Google corporate intranet site. You can try yourself to open the links: https://g3doc.corp.google.com/company/teams/fonts/googlesansflex-integration.md
Also, the font is not even available on Google Fonts GitHub. Additionally, Google Sans flex recently debuted with Android 16 release and in the past, Google was sending C&D notices to Custom ROMs even for using Google Sans font.
So this is a legit fuckup by Google wherein they accidentally released their proprietary font lmfao
