RIP Exynos;
Tensor G1 (2021) - Tensor G5 (2025) πͺ¦π₯
βIt's fair to say that Google's Exynos-backed Tensor era is actually coming to an end β day by day.
With the Tensor G5 being the very first Google-made SOC produced by TSMC, the most well-known competitor to Samsung Foundries, it seems like Google is now preparing for another major shift.
We will be straight: Tensor G6 (codenamed: Malibu) is full of surprises, including a brand-new modem, currently undergoing early internal testing.
We're talking about the - latest and greatest - MediaTek M90, unveiled at the MWC2025.
This modem is significantly faster and more energy-efficient compared to the current Tensor G5's modem, the Exynos 5400(i), featuring top-of-the-class features and record-breaking network speeds, possibly putting an end to Google Pixel's notoriously bad battery life as early as next year.
While it's still too early for definitive conclusions, what's your take? Comment down below!
Oh, and, stay tuned for more Tensor G6 & Pixel 11 news, we've a lot more for you π

Apparently, Android Authority is the only major publication which has not yet posted on the leak about Pixel 11 series will feature MediaTek M90 flagship modem thus ditching Exynos modem
Looks like none of the 69 authors in Android Authority is interested in posting about others' leaks after their own "exclusive" leak about Pixel 10 series will feature the MediaTek modem turned out to be fake.

Xiaomi's HyperOS: Where Every Third-Party App Gets an 'Exit Interview'
Xiaomi allows users to uninstall system apps like gallery from its hyperOS. While doing it, Xiaomi has added an interface that will warn the users about cons of uninstalling that particular system app like, when uninstalling the gallery app, "photos and albums could not be viewed" etc
However, its Xiaomi, thus Xiaomi's own software interfaces have NO authentication at all. So, 3rd apps like Byte dance and Kuaishou are now abusing this feature to scare users if they try to uninstall their app.
For example, when you try to uninstall TikTok, it will show a prompt saying that:
"You will not be able to see the latest updates from your friends or the authors you follow, nor will you receive messages from your friends."
Xiaomi can't even implement app uninstallation properly in their software smh

BREAKING: RIP Xbox
Rumours have it that the Xbox hardware production has been ceased and Microsoft is only interested in Xbox software department.
If the news is true, another big #KilledByMicrosoft is coming after acquiring Activision.

What a wonderful couple of days
First, on Thursday, an unknown person begins sharing photos of Discord Okta stuff. Images begin circulating. I first saw the images around 3pm EST. Some people speculated it was SLSH. SLSH took credit for something Discord related, I don't know.
Friday Discord did a press release disclosing a 3rd party compromise from (presumably) Zendesk. They began sending emails out.
Friday night people began attributing the Zendesk compromise to SLSH. Various posts were made on social media about it. The prevailing theory was overlapping TTPs from the SLSH attributed Salesforce campaign.
Saturday evening an unknown group officially took credit for the Discord Zendesk compromise disproving the attribution to SLSH.
Saturday night, SLSH retorted that they had never explicitly took credit for the Discord Zendesk compromise, hence they are not distributing misinformation, rather Cyber Threat Intelligence nerds on social media falsely attributed it and SLSH never explicitly confirmed or denied it. They took offense to me writing this weaponize misinformation.
Who really compromised Zendesk? Why didn't SLSH deny the allegations up front? Will One Punch Man season 3 have as good animation as season 1? Why does Friendlies have such good mozzarella sticks? Will I wait for the internet nerd drama to conclude before I make a post or just let chaos flow in perpetuity?
Find out next time on Dragon Ball Z
