Microsoft has announced that the Microsoft Authenticator app will no longer support password storage or autofill capabilities starting this July. Microsoft is quickly moving to passwordless authentication methods.
Beginning in July, Microsoft Authenticator will cease supporting the autofilling of saved passwords. At the same time, stored payment information will also be removed from the application. By August, all saved passwords will be deleted from the app entirely. Users who wish to retain access to their stored credentials should export them before this deadline, and/or import this data into an alternative password manager.
Microsoft will automatically synchronize previously saved passwords with the user's Microsoft account. This will allow the user to access them through Microsoft Edge. Additionally, the user can set Edge as the default autofill provider on the device. Obviously, this will only work if you use Edge on your smartphone. Otherwise, you must migrate your data to another password management solution before full removal occurs.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy (SM8650-AC) OR 8 Plus Gen 3 The "AC" versions are best-binned than the "AB" ones Samsung has bought exclusive rights for the "For Galaxy" naming from Qualcomm.β¦
Qualcomm Quietly Launched Two New Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SKU
Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 codename "pineapple" was launched two years back in October 2023 with the Part Number "SM-8650-AB". When the Galaxy S24 series debut in January 2024, it used the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 For galaxy Edition, also called 8 Gen 3 Leading Version or 8+ Gen 3 having SM-8650-AC part number. Then in December 2024, Honor 300 series was launched with the 300 Pro and 300 Ultra packing the 8 Gen 3's SM8650-AA SKU.
Now, Qualcomm has silently listed two new SKU for Snapdragon 8 Gen 3:
1. SM-8650-Q-AA
2. SM-8650-Q-AB
The Q here means "cut cores" which means instead of 8 cores with 1+5+2 config, these Q versions packs 6 cores with 1+4+1 configuration. A Lenovo Tablet with model number "TB710FU" has been spotted at Geekbench with the SM-8650-Q-AA SKU, running at clock speeds:
β’ 1x Cortex-X4@ 3.3GHz
β’ 4x A720@ 2.96GHz
β’ 1x A520@ 2.27GHz
Geekbench 6 scores of Lenovo tablet:
Single-core: 1880
Multi-core: 4716
Information about SM-8650-Q-AB edition remains unknown but it may run at 3.0GHz.
Meanwhile, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 3:
β’ 1x X4@ 3.4GHz
β’ 3x A720@ 3.15GHz
β’ 2x A720@ 2.96GHz
β’ 2x A520@ 2.27GHz
8 Gen 3 speed:
β’ 1x X4@ 3.3GHz
β’ 3x A720@ 3.2GHz
β’ 2x A720@ 3.0GHz
β’ 2x A520@ 2.3GHz
Honor 300 Pro/Ultra 8 Gen 3 (SM-8650-AA):
β’ 1x X4@ 3.0GHz
β’ 5x A720@ 2.95GHz
β’ 2x A720@ 2.0GHz
Thus, there exist 5 SKU's of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in a span of 2 years.
Funfact: Nothing was also testing a prototype of the Phone 3 with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. However, they went with Snapdragon 8s gen 4 instead due to cost-cutting & to market that its' a new & latest flagship SoC lol.

This interview by WSJ with Apple execs is absolute cinema. The questions were quite on point and answers were difficult!
It's literally watching a mum telling her kids off for not making Siri good.
For the first time, I have seen Craig being frightened due to the questions and the tone in which they were asked. A worthy watch of your time.
You will even understand why Apple went with Liquid Glass Interface and you'll love their answer on it. Sure it doesn't look good in developer betas, but Apple still has ample of time to fix them before the stable version debuts with the iPhone 17 series in September.

Google bricked the leaked Pixel 10 Pro
Source
Recently, Google Pixel 10 Pro Live images were leaked and that model has been successfully bricked by Google. The fastboot page shows that it's an early prototype as its DVT 1.0 unit. Apart from that, we also get our first look at the Tensor G5 SoC inside the blazer.

OnePlus Nord 5 Announced Globally, But Only China Gets the Real Phone
The OnePlus Nord 5 is a rebranded version of the Ace 5 Ultra Edition from China, but the global and Indian versions have many downgrades. These include:
1. Processor
Mediatek Dimensity 9400 Plus β> Snapdragon 8s gen 3
(The D9400 plus is latest flagship SoC and is 2X time more powerful than the SD 8s gen 3)
2. Storage
China: UFS 4.0
India/ Global: UFS 3.1
3. Battery
Ace 5 Ultra: 6700mAh Si/C battery (dual-cell)
India: 6800mAh Li-ion (single-cell)
Global: 5200mAh Li-ion (single-cell)
4. Charging
China: 100W fast charging
India/ Global: 80W
Upgrades from the Ace 5 Ultra: Front camera
China: 16MP (NO AF)
India/ Global: 50MP (AF)
If you feel that's enough, well, Nord 5 is even downgraded than the Nord 4.
1. Storage
Nord 4: UFS 4.0
Nord 5: UFS 3.1
2. Build quality
Nord 4: Metal frame
Nord 5: Plastic frame
3. Charging
Nord 4: 100W fast charging
Nord 5: 80W
What's worse is that, OnePlus blamed consumers for using plastic frame on Nord 5, claiming consumers voted for plastic in their survey. Even after this many downgrades, the Ace 5 Ultra still costs 100$ less in China compared to India/ Global pricing.
China:
β’ 8GB+256GB= Minimum 12GB RAM
β’ 12GB+256GB= 2499 CNY (~345$)
β’ 12GB+512GB= 2999 CNY (~415$)
India/ Global:
β’ 8GB+256GB= Rs. 32,000/ β¬449/Β£399
β’ 12GB+256GB= Rs. 35,000
β’ 12GB+512GB= Rs. 38,000/ β¬499/Β£449
