Microsoft today celebrating its 50th anniversary. Part of celebration, the company has issued a pack of wallpapers for desktop, mobile, a new background for Solitaire, and a new dynamic Xbox X/S background.
The wallpapers were collaboratively designed by three Microsoft designers, who drew inspiration from key moments and iconic elements in the company’s storied journey. Each design reflects a blend of nostalgia and modernity, capturing the essence of Microsoft’s evolution over the past 50 years. What makes these wallpapers even more versatile is that they come in both light and dark variants, ensuring they look great on any device.

FIR Filed Against BGMI in India for Selling Users Data at Rs.2,000 per subscriber
An FIR (First Information Report), No. 0474/2024 has been registered accusing BGMI developer Krafton India & four of its senior executives of unlawfully sharing & monetising confidential user data to 3rd parties at a rate of Rs 2,000 (~25 US$) per subscriber.
The FIR, dated Septembe 5,r 2024, was lodged following a court directive under Section 156(3) of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC). The FIR also invokes multiple legal provisions, including charges of criminal conspiracy, cheating, data protection & unauthorised disclosures. A hearing in the matter is scheduled before the Bombay High Court on April 15 2025.
South Korean company Krafton owns PUBG while Chinese company Tencent holds the rights to license & publish it. Indian Government banned PUBG in 2020 with concerns over data privacy and national security . Following the ban, Krafton launched BGMI & now it has been accused for the same reasons.

According to tipster Kacper, Xiaomi is working on a CPU tuning feature that lets you adjust CPU/GPU frequency and voltage on the fly. These strings were discovered in Android 16 China HyperOS translations.
It's not implemented for now nor is it known which phones will support it.

Here's a better showcase of our motora1n exploit running on a Pixel 7 Pro. The exploit automatically unlocks the bootloader, disables production mode, secure boot, and loads a different set of interesting scripts, going all the way through memes(brainrot) anddd.. DOOM!
The game runs natively and is entirely controlled via the phone's volume keys thanks to a special key handler :D

Oof: the OnePlus Watch 3 is finally available in the US again after it was pulled to fix the "Meda in China" typo...but it now costs $499 (!) instead of $329.99!
When asked why, OnePlus refused to comment, but we can all probably guess why...

The Pixel watch 4 will debut later this year alongside the Google Pixel 10 series. Compared to the Pixel watch 3, it will be a bit thicker maybe due to a bigger battery and will have a slightly smaller bezzels.
The render shows 2 buttons on both sides of the speaker but the functionality of these buttons is not known yet. Additionally, the back of the watch is missing 4 pins thus indicating wireless charging support on the pixel watch 4.
