Xiaomi's prototype outward folding phone leaked

The patent was published on June 5, 2020 and shows Xiaomi smartphone wiith a flexible display that is on the outside when folded.
When folded, the device has comparable dimensions to a regular smartphone, but unfolded you get an extra large display.
The phone is almost completely borderless with a quad rear camera system. It also has a Snapdragon 855 with X50 modem for 5G support and a 3470 mAh battery.
There's a button placed directly below the camera system which is probably used to control the closing of the flexible display.
The prototype was built later and intended to be more of an actual phone than a simple proof-of-concept.
The device was very secret and very few units made their way into the public

After EU, India to mandate USB Type-C for all consumer electronics
The decision reached a consensus at a meeting of an inter-ministerial task force that was set up by the government of India.
The government is holding wide-ranging consultations that are aimed to standardize two charging systems, one for all smartphones, tablets, and compatible devices while the other for low-cost feature phones.
A Sub group task force will be examining the feasibility of a uniform charging port for wearables such as smart watches and smart bands.
Then, Apple will also have to launch their devices with type C support or only wireless charging else they will not be selling their products in India, same like EU

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) might take measures such that a caller’s name flashes on the screen when a call is received
The name that would be flashed would be as per the know your customer (KYC) record of users available with the telecom operators, not like any random name that anyone can set like on TrueCaller
This will also help in reducing & reporting spam calls easily
This will enable Subscribers to know the name of the caller even if the caller's contact is not saved in their contact list.
The same measures might also be implemented with calls over WhatsApp in future as WhatsApp is linked to SIM cards, there is a direct link between a user’s phone number and a WhatsApp account.
