The absolute state of Android Community in Freelancing
In the Android community, freelancers often build apps for businesses. And here comes the custom ROM community folks.
Some people are offering custom ROM development gigs on Fiverr, claiming to provide Pixel OS with full Google services. What's shocking is their FAKE claims, like developing for ANY deviceβeven Android 6, which is impossible as many devices just don't support bootloader unlocking.
They also call themselves "XDA-recognized devs," yet clearly don't know that commercially redistributing GMS outside of MADA is 'illegal'. And theyβre selling it all for $1200.
And now comes the masterminds who discovered the ultimate hustle: take a free ROM like GrapheneOS or LineageOS, REBRAND it, and SELL it for $400 on Fiverrβbecause who needs to pay developers when you can just hit 'repackage'?
Some people even created a gig to "advise" others on which smartphone to purchase, charging $5 for something we've been doing for free πππ

Here is DOOM running on Apple's Lightning to HDMI dongle
Developer NyanSatan, known for his works on dualboot iOS guide and Apple Lightning research, has demonstrated running the popular game DOOM (1993) just on Apple Lightning to HDMI dongle.
Dev says that it's even possible to get 60FPS and proper resolution too. At some point in the future, he even plans to release all the software as a package for jailbroken devices, so anyone can try it themselves.

Unsealed court documents from February 5th, 2024, in Kadrey v. Meta show Meta (formerly Facebook) illegally torrented 81.7TB of data from "shadow libraries" such as Anna's Archive, Z-Library, and LibGen to train Meta artificial intelligence.
Highlights include:
- A senior AI research at Meta says, "I don't think we should use pirated material. I really need to draw a line there."
- Another AI researcher says, "using pirated material should be beyond our ethical threshold" ... "SciHub, ResearchGate, LibGen are basically like PirateBay or something like that, they are distributing content that is protectec by copyright and they're infringing it".
- In January 2023, Mark Zuckerberg attends a meeting which is heavily redacted in court documents. However, he says "we need to this move this stuff forward" and "we need to find a way to unblock all of this".
- Fast forward to April, 2023, Meta employees discuss using a VPN to conceal Meta IP address ranges when torrenting data. Meta employees also discuss the need to involve lawyers if something goes astray. The unredacted court records show a Meta employee saying, "torrenting from a corporate laptop doesn't feel right π".

Moments ago Doxbin was compromised.
A group named "Tooda" has taken credit for the compromise.
In summary, administrative staff from Doxbin got into a verbal altercation with members of Tooda. Doxbin administration accused a Tooda member of being a pedophile.
Tooda retaliated by compromising Doxbin.
Upon compromise of Doxbin, Tooda members did the following (in maybe different steps):
- Dumped every account
- Purged all accounts on the website
- Locked the administrative accounts
- Released Doxbin (alleged) administration PII
- Leaked a so-called "blacklist" β a collection of people who have allegedly paid to not have their information posted on Doxbin
Tooda has claimed online they intend to release the dumped details of Doxbin users. This document is believed to contain roughly 136,000 e-mails and usernames on Doxbin.
Additionally, Tooda has released photos of the Doxbin administrative panel. We have censored some of the content within the panel to protect the privacy of others.
Thank you to "Tongue /πͺ", VXDB, and the dozen other people who spammed us online to notify us of the compromise.
