I thought Samsung is wild for building tanks for the army in South Korea but Xiaomi is even more wild as it even makes underwear and bidets

The OnePlus 13 is the first non-Pixel Android phone to support Androidβs Powered Off Finding feature!
This feature lets you locate your OnePlus 13 via the Find My Device network even when itβs powered off or out of battery. This is thanks to specialized hardware within the device that keeps the Bluetooth controller running for hours after the OS has shut down.
The Pixel 8 series was the first to support this feature among Android phones. Despite messages in OxygenOS 15 suggesting otherwise, neither the OnePlus 12 nor the OnePlus Open support this feature as they donβt have the requisite hardware.
P.S. check out my OnePlus 13 review!

Shoutout to the homies at "IObit Malware Fighter".
Their IMFForceDelete driver is so wildly vulnerable, and poorly written, you can have their driver arbitrarily delete any file on the machine with 0 privileges and literally 1 line of code
Thanks _mmpte_software for sharing

Google Announces Pixel 4a 4G Battery Performance Program
Google has identified a battery performance issue in some Pixel 4a phones. The Pixel 4a stopped receiving monthly updates in August of 2023 & now Google is rolling a new software update, which is still based on Android 13 to address the issue. Through this, the βImpacted Devicesβ will have reduced available battery capacity & charging performance will be impacted. To compensate for this, Google is offering several appeasement options to impacted users.
1. Free battery replacement (availability varies by location)
2. $50 USD (or local equivalent) payment
3. $100 USD (or local equivalent) Google Store discount code for a new Pixel phone
NOTE: Not all Pixel 4a devices are impacted. You can check your deviceβs eligibility on Googleβs registration page.
Battery replacement is available at walk-in repair centres in: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, Singapore and India. Deadline to file the claim is 8th January, 2026.
