The biggest design difference on the Galaxy S25 Ultra is the flat sides. On the Galaxy S24 Ultra, the top and bottom were flat, with the sides slightly rounded. Now, with the Galaxy S25 Ultra, all four sides are flat.

Skylo, the satellite provider behind Satellite SOS on the Pixel 9, has announced that smartphones with the Snapdragon X80 modem will have access to their Non-Terrestrial Network for peer-to-peer text messaging, location sharing, and SOS notifications.
The Snapdragon X80 modem is expected to appear in upcoming flagships powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset.
While the Snapdragon X80 modem is "Skylo certified," though, don't expect every smartphone with the modem to offer satellite connectivity out of the box. The OEM needs to pay/partner with Skylo as well as an emergency response provider like Garmin (or pass those costs onto the consumer). Fortunately, Google Messages supports the feature, so OEMs likely won't need to implement satellite messaging support on their own.

The CCI's 1,027-page report on Amazon said the Indian units of 5 companies - Samsung, Xiaomi, Motorola, Realme and OnePlus - were "involved in the practice of exclusive" phone launches in "collusion" with Amazon and its affiliates, breaking competition law. In Flipkart's case, a 1,696-page CCI report said the Indian units of Samsung, Xiaomi, Motorola, Vivo, Lenovo and Realme conducted similar practices.
The major issue with these "exclusive launches" is that retailers offered the big players preference, prioritization of certain listings, and steep discounts, all of which hurt other retailers
All 5 companies have been ordered to submit their financial statements for three fiscal years to 2024, certified by their auditor, to the CCI, according to an internal CCI document dated Aug. 28 as seen by Reuters.

Apple Pulls Back iPadOS 18 Update for M4 iPad Pro After Bricking Complaints
Users have reported on Reddit that iPadOS 18 update for their M4 powered iPad Pro bricked their devices. In some cases, a total replacement was required for affected users. Not all M4 iPad Pro owners have had an issue installing the update, and it could be linked to installing the new iOS 17.7 update before installing iOS 18.
Thus, for now, Apple has pulled back the update of iPadOS 18 that was released yesterday only. So, the new software is no longer available to be downloaded and installed at the current time on the M4 iPad pro
