Realme Announced 320W SuperSonic Charge Technology in China

Realme's 320W supersonic charge technology can charge a smartphone with a 4420mAh battery capacity in just 4mins and 30secs from 0% to 100%. In only one minute, the device charges to 26% & under 2mins it charges to 50%.

Realme has also introduced WORLD'S FIRST Folded Battery for smartphones. This is also the WORLD'S FIRST quad-cell battery for smartphones boasting 4420mAh battery capacity and incorporating 'four individual cells' that can be charged simultaneously.
Each cell is under 3mm thick, yet provides a 10% increase in capacity over traditional designs.

Addressing users’ safety concerns for high-power charging, Realme has introduced the WORLD'S FIRST “AirGap” Voltage Transformer. This features advanced contact-free electromagnetic conversion for smartphones. Google plans to bring Pixel devices to Turkey

Turkey's Turkcell telecom opeartor while answering to a customers' problem on EID number failure confirmed that Google has plans to come to Turkey in 2025, specifically in the smartphone category.

Also, Turkcell and Turk Telekom operator configurations, which were not available on Google Pixel devices until now, were added to the system with the Pixel 9 series and with Pixel 6 series too with Android 14 QPR 3 update. Volte and VoWifi can also be used now with telecom operators in Turkey with Pixel smartphones

These config’s contain specific codes needed for devices that will be sold in Turkey thus confirming that Pixel devices will launch in Turkey soon.

Geekbench AI Announced

Primate Labs — the makers of Geekbench has introduced the Geekbench AI app, a cross-platform AI benchmarking tool designed to evaluate the performance of AI workloads using real-world machine learning tasks. The new benchmarking tool was previously known as Geekbench ML during its preview stage

It asses how the CPU, GPU, and NPU perform in machine learning tasks and bases its score on accuracy and speed. Each test run on Geekbench AI delivers 3 scores - single precision, half-precision, and quantized. Scores also have an accuracy measurement to them to see how accurately the models can accomplish tasks & there’s a comparison to relative efficiency over time. Each workload is tested for at least five iterations to ensure devices reach their peak during testing.

Geekbench AI supports many AI frameworks including CoreML for macOS & iOS, OpenVINO for Windows & Linux, QNN for Snapdragon-powered Arm PCs as well as vendor-specific frameworks for Android devices.

OnePlus Silently Changes its Green Lines Issues Policy

OnePlus recently announced vouchers for affected green lines users of OnePlus 8 and 9 series users. For example users can grab a OnePlus 11R for just 50$ by exchanging a OnePlus 9R affected with green lines

Recently, Samsung also announced display replacement for FREE for green lines issues on Galaxy S20 and S21 series (including Note and FE models) but on a condition that the device should NOT be more than 3yrs old from the date of purchase. Unlike Samsung which already clarified to users about the device age, OnePlus did it quietly. OnePlus is now denying users of vouchers if their device is more than 3yrs old

Many users with their 9R affected with green lines were denied a voucher for 11R just because their device was more than 3 years old even if its just 10 days. So the only option is now screen replacement with around Rs. 500 (~6$) labor charge fee
