Redmi Pad SE 4G Launched in India with a Four Year Old Processor
Redmi Pad SE 4G is powered by MediaTek Helio G85 4G processor. MediaTek introduced it MORE than 4 years ago, in April, 2020 and it was made on 12nm node.
Xiaomi launched the Redmi Pad SE powered by Snapdragon 680 in Europe last year in August, 2023. Then in April, 2024, 9 months later, Xiaomi introduced Pad SE in India.
However, the Tablet is Wi-Fi only and lacked cellular connectivity. So, Now in July-end 2024, Xiaomi introduced the same Pad SE but with 4G connectivity but with many cost-cuttings
Differences in Redmi Pad SE and Pad SE 4G:
• 8-inch screen instead of 11" display
• Helio G85, downgraded from SD 680 (12nm vs 6nm)
• 6650mAh battery, decreased from 8000mAh
Even after this much cost-cutting, Xiaomi priced Pad SE 4G just Rs.900 or 10 US$ less compared to Pad SE Wi-Fi
4GB+64GB= Rs. 10,999
4GB+128GB= Rs. 11,999

First Look at the Nothing Phone 2a Plus
Nothing Phone 2a Plus will have a silver and grey metallic finish on the rear, which looks like a new colour for the regular Nothing Phone 2a lol.
The box design is exactly same as the Phone 2a box, with the addition of the word "Plus" ahead of Phone 2a lol
Specifications wise also, Phone 2a has mostly everything same as the regular phone 2a, including the same rear cameras, same display and even the same slower UFS 2.2 storage although the Dimensity 7350 supports UFS 3.1. The SoC is NOT anything new either since its a 200MHz frequency overclocked Phone 2a's Dimensity 7200 only.
So what's really have been upgraded with the Phone 2a Plus is a 50MP Front camera, as the Phone 2a has 32MP front. Also, it will have support 50W fast charging, which is just 5W upgrade from the 45W support on the Phone 2a lol
(In short, Phone 2a Plus will charge 5mins faster than Phone 2a lmao)

Firefox and Meta develop a mechanism that promises to keep the user's data private in an unyielding ad world
Mozilla recently received backlash after shipping an experimental feature — Privacy-preserving attribution, enabled by default, which collects data for advertisers, in Firefox 128.
It aims to balance advertiser needs and user privacy. Mozilla is collaborating with Meta on the project to ensure it meets both privacy standards and advertiser utility.
The development, ongoing for several years, utilizes a secure multi-party computation (MPC) system called DAP/Prio. Its privacy properties have been analyzed to identify loopholes. Currently, the prototype is limited to a few test sites and only functions in Firefox.
