Android 15 will abandon OpenGL in favor of Vulkan
All games that still use OpenGL will be forced to translate into Vulkan by a thing called "Angle library".
This is another major change after Android abandoned 32-bit apps and forced the use of 64-bit apps.
ANGLE is an open-source project initiated by Google & is used in the Chromium project for underlying graphics rendering engine.
The goal of ANGLE is to allow users of multiple operating systems to seamlessly run WebGL and other OpenGL ES
content by converting OpenGL ES API calls into one of the hardware-supported APIs available for that platform.
In other words, it translates OpenGL ES into other languages, such as D3D9.
The Android native component graphics rendering library on Android 15 is switched from OpenGL ES to Vulkan, and the built-in ANGLE library is required.
In the developer options, the angle library can be configured to use the OpenGL ES graphics library to escape the game class to the Vulkan graphics library

The leaked documentation describes an old version of Google's Content Warehouse API and provides a glimpse of Google Search’s inner workings. There are over 2,500 pages in total. Samsung will make this beta available to users with a Galaxy Watch 4 or later in the U.S. and Korea via the Samsung Members app.

Microsoft Edge may now load its Browser Essentials up to 76% faster
Microsoft created WebUI 2.0 after discovering that many Edge components used code bundles that were "too large." WebUI 2.0 reduces these packages and uses a "more modular" architecture.
Starting with the Browser Essentials tool, the UI is now 42% faster for Edge users and 76% faster on devices without an SSD or with less than 8GB RAM. The speed of the Edge favorites menu is now 40% faster as well.
Edge history, downloads, and wallet features will also eventually receive the WebUI 2.0 update.

Xiaomi hit with patent lawsuit in India and France

Sun Patent Trust has filed patent lawsuits against Xiaomi in major markets like India and France.
These lawsuits allege that Xiaomi has been using LTE-A technology without permission.
LTE-A is an advanced 4G standard that offers faster speeds and better performance compared to regular LTE
The accusations claim that Xiaomi has been using this patented technology in its 4G devices since late 2018 without proper licensing.
These lawsuits are collectively valued at over $300 Million
The Paris Judicial Court and the High Court of Delhi will assess whether Xiaomi has indeed infringed on the patent or not.
Despite attempts at negotiation since 2019, Xiaomi has not reached an agreement with the patent holder.
Thus Sun Patent Trust which is not known for aggressive litigation, has taken legal action due to Xiaomi’s stance.
