The Recents, Quick Settings Tiles (QS), Volume Slider, and Settings all are exactly the same.
However, the battery icon is different lol
OEM unlocking option in developer options to unlock the bootloader and flash Custom ROMS is also present as found in Pixel/Motorola/Sony stockOS
However, there is an option to 'Optimize Operating Speed' as well LOL

iPads join iPhones in requirement to follow strict EU rules
iPadOS will now have to comply with the rules that allow users in Europe to download apps from outside the Apple App Store, uninstall apps preloaded on iPads, and select default services like browsers from choice screens.
The Commission's investigation found that Apple presents the features of a gatekeeper in relation to iPadOS, as among others:
• Apple's business user numbers exceeded the quantitative threshold elevenfold, while its end user numbers were close to the threshold and are predicted to rise in the near future.
• End users are locked-in to iPadOS. Apple leverages its large ecosystem to disincentivise end users from switching to other operating systems for tablets.
• Business users are locked-in to iPadOS because of its large and commercially attractive user base, and its importance for certain use cases, such as gaming apps.
Apple has now six months to ensure full compliance with the DMA obligations as applied to iPadOS.

The new Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G World Champions Edition marks the 10th anniversary of Xiaomi in India and is a part of Xiaomi India’s partnership with the Argentina Football Association.
The box has the image of the top 3 Argentine players on the front along with the text Campeon Mundial which translates to World Champion along with the year they became the world champions – 1978, 1986, and 2022.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ World Champions Edition text is engrained into the box, and there are three stars, the number of world cups they have won. Inside the box, there is a football turf.
The charger and SIM ejector have an AFA logo.
It also comes with a special card that has the list of players who played in the world cup on the back of the card.

The iconic Nokia 3210 is coming back as a 4G phone
HMD Global teased new Nokia 4G features at Kenya's HMD Pulse launch event.
This shows the iconic Nokia 3210 which was introduced back in 1999 is coming back as a 4G phone.
The new Nokia 3210 launching after 25 years will have a noticeable resemblance in body shape to the Nokia 6310,
This has both Nokia and HMD branding on the back.
It will get 4G connectivity, Bluetooth support, and a rear camera with LED flash and the iconic Snake Game.
In addition to Nokia 3210, the company will also launch the Nokia 215 4G, Nokia 225 4G and Nokia 235 4G, all with 2.4″ IPS screen

Systemd wants to expand to include a sudo replacement, "run0"
Systemd lead developer Lennart Poettering has posted on Mastodon about their upcoming v256 release of Systemd, which is expected to include a sudo replacement called "run0".
The developer talks about the weaknesses of sudo, and how it has a large possible attack surface (SUID Binary, network access, LDAP configurations, and other types of plugins). A better privilege escalation system should be in place for 2024 security standards.
Also, Lennart has mentioned that it will tint your terminal background in a reddish tone while you are operating with elevated privileges. It will also insert a red dot in the window title while you operate with privileges.

With systemd v256 we are going one step towards this. There’s a new tool in systemd, called "run0". Or actually, it’s not a new tool, it’s actually the long-existing tool “systemd-run”, but when invoked under the "run0" name (via a symlink) it behaves a lot like a sudo clone. But with one key difference: it’s not in fact SUID. Instead it just asks the service manager to invoke a command or shell under the target user’s UID. It allocates a new PTY for that, and then shovels data back and forth from the originating TTY and this PTY.
Also, Lennart has mentioned that it will tint your terminal background in a reddish tone while you are operating with elevated privileges. It will also insert a red dot in the window title while you operate with privileges.

Google Phone starts rolling out ‘Audio Emoji’
The list of "Audio Emoji" includes:
• Clapping 👏
• Laughing 😂
• Party 🎉
• Crying 😢
• Poop 💩
• Sting 🥁
When you, as the caller, select one of these "Audio Emoji," the Google Phone app will play a fun animation while a sound effect plays for a couple of seconds. The sound effect is heard on both ends of the phone call. There's a "cooldown" in between that prevents you from playing sounds back to back.
There’s a button to access it in the overflow menu, but there’s also a chip that appears in the main calling interface.
Audio Emoji is rolling out via the latest Google Phone update in the beta channel, version 128. It will likely launch for all users in the weeks to come.

Meizu 21 Note........ Or is it?
For few days, the pictures of this phone were strangling around internet, from Twitter/X and to this group.
Most "leakers" and news outlets tend to claim that this is exactly "how" Meizu 21 Note/21X looks like.
Unfortunately, we have to debunk this claim by saying that this is a cancelled Mblu phone, that is being repurposed for entry-level market for Malaysia under Meizu's logo and has no relation to 21 lineup (Hence the model number being M411H, where 4 is the last digit of year of release, and the first 1 being an indication for the lowest lineup of brand, and H being an indication for it being a global model)
Meizu 21 Note is yet to be known in terms of how it looks, but the model number indicates that this will be a midrange device (M468Q)
Beware of fakes, and stay vigilant about what you read online!

Indian Government To Ban Wi-Fi 6E Routers in India

The Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI) has urged the government to ban the sale of wifi 6E routers that utilize the 6 GHz spectrum band for data transmission, as the government has NOT yet decided on the use of these frequencies.
COAI, representing major telecom players like Reliance Jio, Airtel, and Vodafone Idea, alleges that these routers are being sold illegally through online platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, and Moglix, as well as offline traders.
Acc to COAI, the sale of equipment for 6 GHz band utilization, which has not yet been assigned for this purpose or has not been declared as license-exempt by the government is illegal and such sale would only result in unauthorized transmissions in our country, thus it should be banned immediately in the country.
