POCO X Deadpool LEAKS

Redmi Turbo 3 will launch as Poco F6 in India with the codename confirmed from the Redmi Turbo 3 update Rom as "peridot_in" having the model number "24069PC21I"
Surprisingly, there is also a customized version spotted in the Redmi Turbo 3 update Rom with the codename being the same "peridot_in" and marketing name as "Deadpool Edition"
So this confirms that Poco F6 will also launch in Deadpool Edition alongside the Regular version atleast in India
However, the Poco F6 Pro will NOT launch in India

Poco F6 Features AI Virtual Proximity Sensor, an upgrade from Physical Proximity on the F5
Xiaomi loves to hype its products and for that, it even 'hides' some specifications about its products from its users in the hope that they will sell well and people will NOT notice
But Elliptic Labs has confirmed that the Poco F6 gets a Virtual AI Proximity Sensor; an upgrade from physical proximity used on the Poco F5
Xiaomi has also removed the 3.5mm Headphone Jack from the Poco F6, which is available on the Poco F5
Although Xiaomi has removed the 2MP useless camera with the Poco F6 that is featured in the F5, the Poco F6 also uses the same TCL CSoT C8 Display panel co-developed by Xiaomi which ended up offering the WORST Display Uniformity on the flagships
Poco F6 will likely launch in June 2024

The first Android 15 beta is HERE! Android 15 Beta 1 is rolling out today to users enrolled in the Android beta program. Supported devices include the Pixel 6 and newer, as well as the Pixel Tablet and Pixel Fold.
Hereβs whatβs new in Android 15 Beta 1, according to Google:
* As I first reported, apps targeting Android 15 are now displayed edge-to-edge by default when running on Android 15! This means apps wonβt have to call the edge-to-edge APIs to show content behind system bars in Android 15, though they should call those APIs to do so in earlier releases. To assist app developers in supporting edge-to-edge, many Material 3 composables handle insets for you.
* Another Android 15 feature I first reported on is app archiving, which went live in DP2 but Google is now choosing to highlight in Beta 1. Android 15 includes OS level support for app archiving and unarchiving, making it easier for third-party app stores to support it (Google Play already does since last year). App store developers should check out the new PackageInstaller APIs while launcher developers should check out the new LauncherApps APIs to learn how to handle archived apps.
* The TalkBack accessibility service in Android 15 now supports Braille displays that use human interface devices over USB and Bluetooth.
* Thereβs also now an OS-level API for E2EE of contact keys so users can securely manage and verify other peopleβs contact information, enhancements to the NFC observe mode to allow apps to register a fingerprint so they can be notified of polling loop activity, inter-character text justification support, a new ProfilingManager class to collect profiling info from within apps, and additional changes to prevent malicious background apps from bringing other apps to the foreground.
Android 15 Beta 1 is the first of 4 planned beta releases. Beta 2 will very likely be unveiled at Google I/O on May 14, while Beta 3 will happen sometime in June and Beta 4 sometime in July. Beta 3 is when Platform Stability will be reached.

Google One VPN will be discontinued, Pixel VPN remains with upgrade coming
Google is now discontinuing the VPN feature as they found people simply werenβt using it. The company said that the depreciation will let the team βrefocusβ and βsupport more in-demand features with Google One.β
VPN by Google One is going away in the next few months, with no specific timeline provided today.
Meanwhile, there are no changes to the free Pixel VPN. In fact, the big VPN upgrade introduced with the Pixel 8 is coming to the Pixel 7 Series and Fold. Those older Pixel phones will stop using the Google One app and switch to a built-in service that means thereβs no persistent notification.

Earlier this year, I broke the news that Google is bringing back lock screen widget support in Android 15.
I now have more information: This feature is aimed at tablets, like the Pixel Tablet, and not phones.
Full details plus screenshots can be found in my latest article for Android Authority.

Android 15 is finally bringing back support for lock screen widgets, but unfortunately, this feature may only be supported on tablets.

Mercenary spyware attacks target iPhone users in 92 countries
Apple is warning iPhone users across 92 countries of sophisticated "mercenary spyware attacks" that could compromise their devices. The company urges targeted individuals to take the threat seriously. These attacks are often state-sponsored and target journalists, activists, and other high-profile individuals.
Apple recommends several steps to combat these attacks: enable Lockdown Mode, update all devices with the latest software, and seek expert help (like the Digital Security Helpline). Mercenary spyware is expensive and complex, so Apple is actively working to detect and prevent these threats.
If you believe you've been targeted, Apple will send notifications via email, iMessage, and the Apple ID portal. Take these warnings seriously and follow the recommended security steps to protect your device and information.

Sony Xperia 1 VI Renders
Source
Sony will introduce the Xperia 6 series likely next month in May.
It will feature the same old ancient design once again which has been continuing for years now with the same style triple rear camera module
The 3.5mm Headphone Jack will be retained alongside the dedicated camera app shutter button on the sides of the smartphone
Xperia 1 VI will have a 6.5-inch OLED Display but Xperia 1 VI will be a bit shorter and wider than Xperia 1 V
The dimensions of the smartphone are 161.9 x 74.5 x 8.4mm, but the aspect ratio has been changed from 21:9 to around 19:5:9, similar to the aspect ratio of Galaxy S24 Ultra
The BAD news is that Sony will ditch the 4K Display with the Xperia 1 VI & will switch to a 2K Display.
Xperia 1 VI cameras will consist of a 48MP Exmor T unknown sensor main camera with ZEISS T* coating alongside UltraWide camera & a 48MP 1/2.7β³ periscope telephoto sensor capable of 3x optical zoom and up to 6x zoom via sensor crop.
