Android 15 will bring a Redesigned Status Bar with New icons and Haptics
Source
Apart from a revamped volume panel, Android 15 will also bring a revamped status bar with new icons
The charging chip that appears when you plug your device in to charge is also being updated, as shown in the clip above
Also, the status bar icon for the battery will show the current battery level inside the icon as opposed to on the right of the icon.
If you donβt like the battery level, you can turn it OFF as well
In addition to these new icons, Android 15 may also add a bit of haptic feedback to the Quick Settings panel when doing a long press on a QS tile such as Bluetooth while its getting expanded
Android 15 will also add some haptic feedback to the volume slider that appears when you press either volume key.

Samsung x ESA presents The Galaxy Time
ESA (European Space Agency) has teamed up with Samsung to launch the World's FIRST watch face for our Solar System β The Galaxy Time for the Galaxy Watches
Not only can you tell the time on Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune, but you can see their exact positions and distances thanks to real-time data from ESA.
Of course, the Galaxy Time tells you the time on Earth, too.
Each planet has its own dial that shows time running faster or slower relative to our 24-hour system.
In addition, the watch face provides extra information such as distances from Earth or the Sun to neighboring planets, how many moons they have, and their planetary seasons and exact positions in the solar system.
Samsung says Galaxy Time is compatible with every Galaxy Watch running Wear OS, which means the Galaxy Watch 4 series or newer

iPhone SE 4 will have Display Panels from BOE instead of Samsung Display
Apple is developing the iPhone SE (4th generation) and it is scheduled to release in 2025.
iPhone SE 4 will feature the same display used in iPhone 14 and thus it will have a "notch" as well along with a 60Hz refresh rate and NO dynamic island either in 2025
Three companies, BOE, Samsung Display, and Tianma are in a bid to supply display panels for the iPhone SE 4.
Samsung Display had proposed the lowest price for a panel, USD 30, while the BOE quoted USD 35 and Tianma, quoted USD 40 respectively.
However, Apple was NOT willing to pay more than USD 20 per unit.
Now, it has been reported that Apple has partnered with BOE to source display panels for the iPhone SE 4. BOE will supply each panel for USD 25.
Tianma product quality has NOT yet met Apple's requirements.
Samsung Display has withdrawn from the negotiations due to issues related to the price.

Samsung Exynos 2500 will use Google's TPU for AI acceleration
Source
Samsung Exynos 2500 or the "Dream Chip' will leverage 3 strategic partnerships:
β’ ARM for custom CPU
β’ AMD for custom GPU
β’ Google for custom AI TPU
With the Exynos 2200 to Exynos 2400, Samsung developed & kept using its own Neural Processor (NPU) and Digital Signal Processor (DSP)
But it didn't boost the Android ML Layer, or Google Mobile Service (GMS) System App Services.
Thus, using Google's TPU (Tensor Processing Unit) in the Exynos 2500 will give access to the Google Machine Learning APIs that can run models on the device.
After One UI 6.1, the software will then run better with Galaxy AI Model & Android Machine Learning Interface to interact with "Galaxy AI Devices".
To run smoother and faster, TPU will engage when the Google ML API code is detected on the app.
Galaxy S25 Ultra would 'likely' feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 for Galaxy chipset

Samsung is developing Custom CPU Cores
Apple A-series chips for iPhones and Qualcomm's upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and newer flagship chips, both feature chips based on ARM instruction SET but not the ARM Cortex cores
Samsung is also developing its own CPU cores based on ARM instruction SET, thus ditching the ARM cortex cores in the future with the upcoming Exynos processors for its smartphones
The Xclipse GPU will obviously be based on AMD GPU only and Exynos will also leverage Google's TPU for AI Acceleration
We will also be having Xiaomi coming with their own SoC thus ditching Snapdragon and MediaTek chipsets in 2025/2026
Google Tensor chips design won't be entirely Exynos-based and will be manufactured by TSMC in the future
Interesting competition ahead

Nothing will release Two More Smartphones This Year
Nothing Phone 2a has already been released as its first phone of 2024.
Now, Carl Pei will release two more smartphones this year
One of them is codenamed "Pacman Pro"
Since the Phone 2a is codenamed "Pacman", so this indicates that the Pro variant of Phone 2a is incoming
The other one is codenamed "Tetris", which is likely the Nothing Phone 3
Nothing Phone 3 will likely be powered by Snapdragon 8s Gen 3
Well if you remember, Carl Pei said that he "won't churn out dozens of products a year like many others." when someone asked him about the Phone 2 release, 6 months after Phone 1 was released
But now, Carl Pei is releasing 3 phones in just 1 year which was previously just 1 smartphone per year
As usual another fake hype, just to make Nothing Fans cope over him

Did Google Tease The Pixel 8a π
A Google Fi Wireless ad that seemingly shows the Pixel 8a front and center.
It's likely the Pixel 8a and NOT the regular Pixel 8 because the Porcelain phone doesn't have the mic hole in the same spot as the Pixel 8 (between the cameras and the LED).
The Leaked live images of the Pixel 8a don't show a microphone either on the camera module confirming that it is indeed the Pixel 8a
Specifications:
β’ 6.1-inch FHD+ Resolution OLED Display
β’ 120Hz refresh rate (upgrade from 90Hz on 7a)
β’ 1400nits Peak brightness
β’ Metal Frame
β’ Google Tensor G3 SoC
β’ LPDDR5 RAM with 128GB/ 256GB UFS 3.1 storage
β’ In-display Fingerprint Scanner
β’ 4500mAh battery with 27W Fast Charging
8a will use WCN6856 Qualcomm Wi-fi chip (the same used in Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1)
SAME Cameras as the Pixel 7a:
β’ 64MP main (IMX 787, OIS) + 13MP UltraWide (IMX 712)
β’ 13MP Front camera (IMX 712)
Expected Pricing: 500$~550$
Launching on 14th May at Google I/O Event
