RIP Yuzu Emulator
Recently, Nintendo sued Yuzu, for “facilitating piracy at a colossal scale.”
Now, Yuzu has decided to settle the lawsuit
The Nintendo 3DS emulator, Citra is also DEAD
Nintendo wants Yuzu to:
• Pay $2.4 Million for damages
• Agree that Yuzu is “primarily designed to circumvent and play Nintendo Switch games.”
• Surrender the yuzu-emu.org domain name to Nintendo
• NOT delete any “evidence” that infringes Nintendo’s IP rights.
• Delete copies of Yuzu
Prohibit working on Yuzu, hosting Yuzu, distributing Yuzu’s code or features, hosting websites and social media that promote Yuzu
Agree to DELETE “all circumvention tools used for developing or using Yuzu—such as TegraRcmGUI, Hekate, Atmosphère, Lockpick_RCM, NDDumpTool, nxDumpFuse, and TegraExplorer,”
Handover any “physical circumvention devices” and “modified Nintendo hardware” to Nintendo.
So, Yuzu Shuts Down to Better Emulate the Video Game Industry
You will always be remembered 🙏🏻

EU Fined Apple $1.95 billion for App Store's abusive 'anti-steering' provisions
The European Commission fined Apple over €1.8 billion (~$1.95 billion) for not letting apps like Spotify inform users about cheaper subscription services available outside of iOS apps.
Thus, abusing its dominant position in the market
Apple applied restrictions on app developers that prevented them from informing iOS users about alternative and cheaper music subscription services available outside of the app.
These are known as “anti-steering provisions,” and they are illegal under EU antitrust rules, "even before" the Digital Markets Act comes into the picture.
In response, Apple said it would appeal the European Commission’s decision.
Apple also revealed that Spotify pays Apple “Nothing” despite being downloaded, re-downloaded, or updated more than 119 billion times on Apple devices and that it wants more.
Plus, there are many more ways Apple creates value for Spotify, at NO cost to their company

Apple launched the MacBook Air with the M3 chip globally
Mac Air with the new M3 chip comes in 2 sizes —13" and 15"
New features compared to the M2 MacBook Air:
• Wi-Fi 6E
• New Anodization seal for reduced fingerprints
• New 3-mic array with Voice Isolation
• Enhanced voice clarity in audio and video calls
There's even support for up to 2 external displays (with the MacBook Air lid CLOSED)

Google Pixel's market share grew by a ridiculous 527%
Generally, I don't care or post about vendors' smartphone shipment and their market share, but the 527% increase in market share and YoY growth is so ridiculous, I have not seen any brand growing this much
It turns out that Google’s Pixel phones are growing in popularity in Japan even after Pixels are known for heating issues
IDC’s Q4 2023 figures show that shipments grew by 527% in JUST 1 year
Pixel's market share went from JUST 1.5% in 2022 to 10.7% in 2023
Kudos to Apple for once again being the KING in market share and it is now covering more than 50% market in Japan
