Infinix demos color-changing back panels for phones with E Ink technology
Infinix demoed a new prototype technology, called E-Color Shift at MWC 2024 now
The back of the phone can change colors and the color of each segment can be controlled individually as well
This was achieved with E Ink Prism 3, which is very power efficient as power is required only for changing the colors – once set, they will remain fixed with ZERO power draw.
This allows different animation loops to be loaded and Infinix says that if this concept is used in real devices, there will be an app to let you customize the look of your phone by setting different colors or playing various animations.
Also, E Ink isn’t fixed to a rectangular shape, Infinix designers can use more free-form shapes like the stripes too
There can be 60 customizable areas or more even

Tecno showcased its Rollable conceptual smartphone called Tecno Phantom Ultimate
This Rollable phone unrolls quickly with the help of a single-drive motor system that expands the device at the press of a button on the top, turning the device from a smartphone to a tablet
It turns the basic 6.55-inch smartphone into a 7.1-inch tablet size screen in just 1.3 seconds
The display is LTPO AMOLED with variable refresh rate and a resolution of 2,296 x 1,596 pixels with 100% DCI-P3 color gamut
To go back to the basic 6.55-inch display, just perform a 3-finger swipe gesture
It measures just 9.93mm in thickness

It is a bar-style phone that can bend and be worn on the wrist, thus featuring a flexible OLED screen by SDC
There are NO bezels on the front.

Seems like the next tech revolution will be wearing your smartphones on your wrist, thus replacing the smartwatches.

Nintendo is suing Switch Emulator Yuzu creators in US federal court alleging that Yuzu is ‘facilitating piracy’
Nintendo is NOT alleging Yuzu stole the keys
Yuzu takes a bring-your-own-BIOS approach, expecting users to either lift their own BIOSes & keys off a hacked Nintendo Switch (using an unpatched loophole) or likely download a pirated one.
So instead, Nintendo’s arguing that Yuzu is “facilitating piracy at a colossal scale.”
Nintendo wants the court to Stop Yuzu in its tracks with a permanent injunction.
It even wants to take away its domain names, URLs, chatrooms & social media presence
Also, hand over yuzu-emu.org over to Nintendo; and even seize & destroy its hard drives to help wipe out the emulator.
AND, Nintendo wants lots of money in damages as well
Nintendo says the developers have clearly extracted Nintendo Switch games themselves, bypassing encryption, to test their own emulator
