A bug in the CMF Watch app displays someone else's custom watch face image
Users on Reddit are reporting that while setting a custom watch face on their CMF Watch Pro by Nothing, someone else's watch face is getting set
Since the watch face gets set through the Watch App on your smartphone, it appears in users' phone storage too lol
If you remember, after offering privacy nightmare with its Nothing Chats, Nothing's subsidiary CMF also offers privacy fuckup as it was using the SAME keys for both encryption & decryption
The CMF team has announced that they are investigating this custom watch face privacy fuckup issue

Google Search is bringing Pixel exclusive Hold for Me feature to both iOS and other Android
Google Search Labs is testing a new “Talk to a Live Representative” feature that will place a call to a business on your behalf, navigate through its phone tree, wait on hold, and then notify you when a real human is being available for you to speak to.
This feature is similar to Pixel's exclusive 'Hold for Me' feature and better than it even as it will actually call a business on your behalf
To “Request a call,” you first specify a reason for why you’re calling.
You then provide your phone number, with Google sending SMS updates. The Request page will note the estimated wait time. After submitting, you can cancel the request at any time.
Supported businesses include a selection of US airlines, telcos, retailers, insurance, and other service companies.
The experimental feature is available in the US via the Google app on iOS and Android and Chrome desktop too

OpenAI introduced its Text-to-Video model — Sora
OpenAI has announced a new video-generation model named 'Sora'.
Sora “can create realistic and imaginative scenes from text instructions.”
The text-to-video model allows users to create photorealistic videos up to a minute long — all based on prompts they’ve written.
The model can also generate a video based on a still image, as well as fill in missing frames on an existing video or extend it.
Sora is capable of creating “complex scenes with multiple characters, specific types of motion, and accurate details of the subject and background,”
The model can understand how objects “exist in the physical world,” as well as “accurately interpret props and generate compelling characters that express vibrant emotions.”
Sora is currently only available to “red teamers” who are assessing the model for potential harms and risks & to some visual artists, designers, and filmmakers to get feedback

Xiaomi 14 Ultra teased in China
Xiaomi 14 Ultra will come with the "World's Largest" camera bump on a smartphone
It will come in Titanium Edition too but Xiaomi will keep it China-exclusive
The screen is NOT fully flat as it has micro-curvature on all sides and will pack leather or a glass back panel depending upon the storage config
Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be priced at 1500 EUR in Europe for 16GB RAM & 512GB storage, making it MORE expensive than Samsung/iPhone and Pixels flagship
Xiaomi is also planning to release it in India as well in limited units but it is expected to debut in Q2 2024 instead of March as Xiaomi is giving priority to European markets
Camera specs:
• 50MP 1-inch Type Sony LYT-900 main (OIS)
• 50MP Ultra-Wide (IMX 858)
• f/1.6~f/4.0 Stepless Variable Aperture
• 50MP 3X Telephoto-Periscope (IMX 858)

Nvidia introduces 'Chat with RTX' Chatbot
Nvidia has announced an early version of Chat with RTX, a demo app that lets you run a personal AI chatbot on your PC.
You can feed it YouTube videos & your own documents to create summaries and get relevant answers based on your own data.
It all runs locally on a PC, and all you need is an RTX 30- or 40-series GPU with at least 8GB of VRAM.
Chat with RTX installs a web server and Python instance on your PC, which then leverages Mistral or Llama 2 models to query the data you feed it.
It then utilizes Nvidia’s Tensor cores on an RTX GPU to speed up your queries.
Chat with RTX app is around 40GB in size and the Python instance takes up around 3GB of RAM
Chat with RTX also does NOT remember context, so follow-up questions do not work.

Google's 'MusicLM' text-to-music creator
Google's MusicFX is an experimental technology that allows you to generate your own music.
It is powered by Google's MusicLM and uses Google DeepMind’s novel watermarking technology, SynthID to embed a digital watermark in the outputs.
You can “Describe any musical ideas and hear it come to life with Al.” For example:
• Create a melody for ambient music I can study to
• Create a soulful jazz song for a dinner party
• Create an industrial techno sound that is hypnotic
Google says you can be “very descriptive” with this generator.
You can specify instruments like electronic or classical, as well as the “vibe, mood, or emotion” you’re aiming for.
Its currently available in the USA only, so please use a VPN to access and try it.

JUST IN: Snapdragon-powered Pixel Phones are Dead
The Pixel 5 & 5a are the last batch of Snapdragon-powered Pixels & now Android 15 will NOT be supported by them
Android 15 only supports Pixels released after late 2021 aka the Tensor-powered Pixel series, sealing the fate of Snapdragon chip support
In our previous poll, 58% of users voted that Google should switch to Qualcomm but, dumping the Qualcomm Snapdragon was one of the BEST decisions Google ever made.
Google can now have full control over the SoC which wasn't possible with Snapdragon
Tensor isn't perfect at all, but its getting better with time
Since the Snapdragon-pixels support will end soon, it will become more difficult for Custom ROMs users to steal pixel features since Google will tie features to the Tensor chip as seen with the 'Best Take' & 'Unblur' features of Google Photos
Google might remove Qualcomm DSP support, thereby making processing speed on GCAM Mods trash, thus taking much more time to process images

Xiaomi 14 Ultra Camera Samples
Xiaomi fanbois create hype about Xiaomi so much that even Xiaomi doesn't do this much
Some even think that "Xiaomi would have been the biggest threat to Apple in the US." 😂🤣😂🤣
Please DO NOT fall for the hype done by smartphone brands be it Xiaomi, Nothing, or even Samsung.
As for the display quality, well, the screen issues are a 'gacha' or luck based
Many people reported Samsung Galaxy S24 series has display quality issues and blamed Samsung Display (SDC)
But now OnePlus 12 with BOE X1 Display has started getting green lines for a few users
Some people think that Xiaomi display is good because NO issues were reported on Twitter & are only from OnePlus/Samsung
Well, that's NOT true because Xiaomi users on Weibo have reported Xiaomi Flagship 13/14 series with TCL CSOT display having issues with the screen
So please, Research yourself or ask your friends on telegram (not a fanboi friend) & then decide, since you are spending your hard-earned money
