Once upon a time, Apple put its engineers deeply engaged to make the Watch & Health app compatible with the billions of Android devices
This was codenamed Project Fennel and “would have brought the company’s health features & its benefits that Apple underlines to many more people"
The work was "nearly complete" as well.
But in the end, Apple canceled Project Fennel because the Apple Watch is a driver of iPhone sales.
“If you gave up the watch to Android, you would dilute the value of the watch to the iPhone,”
So, Apple reminded itself that it is Apple and business matters most to them than people's lives & health and ironically after losing Masimo's patent battle, Apple argued "Masimo has wrongly attempted to use the ITC to keep a potentially lifesaving product from millions of U.S. consumers"
Anyways, in 2024 Apple Watch could get a new sensor to help detect elevated blood pressure & sleep apnea detection.

RCS is coming to iPhones later this year
In a statement to 9To5Mac, an Apple spokesperson has announced that later next year iPhones will receive RCS support with an OTA update.
Later next year, we will be adding support for RCS Universal Profile, the standard as currently published by the GSM Association. We believe RCS Universal Profile will offer a better interoperability experience when compared to SMS or MMS. This will work alongside iMessage, which will continue to be the best and most secure messaging experience for Apple users.
RCS (Rich Communication Standard) is a texting standard which brings many features present on iMessage to other devices, like read receipts, typing status, reactions or high quality media.
Apple's implementation of RCS will also give users the ability to share the location with other people.
This does not mean that iMessage is opening up to other platforms, as RCS and iMessage will work separately.

Nothing Chats features Apple's iMessage based on Sunbird's tech.
Apple ID is required to use iMessage which gets signed into a Mac Mini on a remote server
Nothing says, that Apple ID is then tokenized in an encrypted database & then Apple ID data is destroyed, ensuring Apple ID security
It’s also end-to-end encrypted & Sunbird is ISO 27001-certified too
In reality, encryption & privacy are just pure LIES by Nothing as its extremely insecure
Nothing Chats is NOT even using HTTPS & credentials are sent over plaintext HTTP
Nothing said: "While the protocol is HTTP, all data is encrypted & the encryption key is provided via HTTPS, so Apple credentials sent via HTTP are secure & not open to public."
However, they did NOT mention any reason for not using HTTPS protocol
Digging further revealed, Nothing Chats stores ALL incoming texts/media unencrypted on Firebase

Since Sunbird stores messages & attachments in Firebase without any encryption, someone asked "ChatGPT" to do a web page where you can log in with your Nothing Chats credentials & get clear text messages they store in Google's Firebase printed.
To demonstrate this, a guy sent a message from his real iPhone using iMessage to an account linked with ‘Nothing Chats’.
The app showed all the messages even the ones sent from iPhone
Surprisingly, the repository contains NO decryption methods as well & Nothing claims that all messages are end-to-end encrypted

The iPhone 16/16 Plus has been reconfirmed to have an LTPS 60Hz display.
iPhone 16: 6.12-inch LTPS 60Hz
16 Plus: 6.69" LTPS 60Hz
16 Pro: 6.27" 120Hz LTPO
16 Pro Max (Ultra): 6.86-inch 120Hz LTPO
But, the iPhone 16/Plus will use "improved" Samsung M12 organic materials compared to iPhone 15 series
Pro models will feature M14 organic materials
Also, iPhone 16 series will NOT have any "major" hardware upgrades.
Apple will try to sell iPhone 16 by making up for larger changes in iOS 18 related to AI

Microsoft has created a new ‘Windows App’ for accessing Windows on a variety of devices such as iPhones, iPads, Macs, and even web browsers
The Windows App is currently in ‘Preview’ and acts as a gateway to Windows 365, Azure Virtual Desktop, Remote Desktop Services, Microsoft Dev Box & Remote PC
For those on web browsers, the new feature will enable users to access their Windows PC from anywhere without having to download or install anything.
The preview version of the Windows App isn’t currently available for Android & ChromeOS though but it's available for iOS
The web app can be accessed on the windows.cloud.microsoft URL.
Microsoft supports multiple monitors through its Windows App, custom display resolutions and scaling, and device redirection for peripherals like webcams, storage devices, and printers.
