MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset will likely have heating issues
MediaTek’s is working on its upcoming hot new flagship chipset i.e Dimensity 9300 SoC
CPU:
4x Cortex X4
4x A720 cores
Octa-Core with 4+4 configuration.
But according to tipsters, this Dimensity chip is literally be running too hot to operate at its advertised frequencies
The reason is MediaTek itself only since most ARM-based chips contain a mix of fast & slow cores to throttle back the power (and thus the heat) during less intensive computing tasks, but MediaTek chose to use ONLY the fast (A720) & very fast cores (X4) in the chip design
MediaTek is even trying to get these rumours pulled down as they are reaching to individual publication requesting them to remove articles related to heating & thermal issues of its upcoming Dimensity 9300 chip

Android 14 based QPR 1 beta update and iOS 17 have added a new section in the “About” screen that shows about battery charge cycles along with its manufacturing date
Note: Its ONLY available for iPhone 15 series yet & every android device will NOT show this info
iPhone also shows the date of first use of its battery, however in Android it won't show since Google notes:
"Due to Quality inspection before shipping, the cycle count may not be 0 on first use"

Is Apple A17 Pro Efficient?
Apple A17 Pro is built upon TSMC 3nm node with improved micro-architecture
YouTuber Geekerwan performed SPEC 2017 tests
INT= Integer, FT= Floating Point
Performance Core:
• 10% & 7% increase in INT & FT compared to A16
• But, power consumption ROSE by 35% & 22%
• IPC is improved by just 3%
Despite using thermal cooler, A17 Pro still throttled & could NOT reach its 3.78GHz clock speed.
It throttled similar to A16, but draws 3W power.
Compared to Snapdragon 8 gen 2, A17 Pro shows higher IPC (28% INT, 44% FT) but also consumes MORE power (43% INT, 31% FT).
Efficiency cores:
• A17 Pro is 20% higher in INT & FT over A16.
• IPC improved by 15%.
Compared to A-510 core, A17 pro is 2.5x faster in INT & 4.4x in FT tests
Against A-715 core at the same freq, A17 Pro is better in INT while consuming a lot LESS power
GeekBench 5:
• A17 Pro scores 6000+ but draws HUGE 14W Power

Health features: It will use Fitbit’s stress management system that will use body-response tracking inputs from cEDA (continuous electrodermal activity) microscopic beads of sweat, heart-rate variability & skin temperature for Stress Detection
Fitness features: Can detect 7 common workouts including running & cycling. Pace Training is available too
Safety features: Safety Check can schedule a timer asking users if they are OK or NOT.
If NO response, Pixel Watch will trigger ‘Emergency Sharing’ that will share the real-time location, medical info & situation with emergency contacts.
