A YouTube employee was caught using an adblocker meanwhile YouTube is working on blocking adblockers on its platform.
Looks like they want to keep all the ads to themselves. Can't blame them for wanting to protect their revenue, but it's always amusing when the tables turn.

Poco F5 was launched just 2 weeks ago Globally and in India.
A guy bought it new and after some time display started having issues and it even uses so called 12 bit display
It could be a manufacturing defect which is normal but what's surprising is even after re-tweeting and tagging in comments poco help support and professional CEO of Poco by several users and tipsters, Poco has NOT yet responded to the issues yet.
Poco support is helping but other users with their issues in Poco devices instead of this latest F'king Poco F5 device
Guy has requested for replacement from Flipkart since refunding money is not possible
Makes a lot of sense why they are giving 2 years of warranty again as quality is still trash.
Motherboard issues takes time to come forward, But display issues already arrived

Introducing World's First Samsung Galaxy Pixel 6 Pro
Developers @Lunarixus, Dyneteve and AnanJaser1211 have managed to boot the read only images from a Galaxy S22 Ultra on a Pixel 6 Pro, booting the latest OneUI 5.1
This is NEITHER any port NOR any GSI as system and product are untouched.
Images are directly flashed straight up from Galaxy S22 Ultra
Google Camera (GCAM) works perfectly after downloading from PlayStore
Samsung adaptive codec along with Dolby Audio with SoundAlive fully functions in this Pixel 6 pro too
Calling works fine along with audio but in Emergency mode only yet
What works:
Bluetooth, NFC, UWB , Wi-FI , Audio, Screen Resolution switcher, HWC etc.
Almost everything works including Samsung 'Proprietary' codec SSC (Samsung Seamless Codec)
Broken:
RIL and some issues exist with touchscreen

The Sensor OLED panel has built-in OPD (Organic PhotoDiode) which is an optical sensor in EACH pixel, which means that companies don’t need to fit a separate fingerprint reader under the OLED panel, saving cost and space inside a device.
Users can also customize the recognition area according to their preferences.
Also, it can sense heart rate information from multiple fingers at the same time for more accurate results

WhatsApp is working on a username feature, allowing users to choose unique usernames for their accounts
Earlier WhatsApp introduced communities which are same like telegram channels but WhatsApp does not have any feature to search globally for users or channels
Now WhatsApp may offer users the ability to reach other people by entering a username within the app, without knowing their phone numbers. This will help in better privacy which telegram is already offering for years

WinRAR and 7-Zip File Compression Native support is coming to Windows 11

Windows has natively supported ZIP files for years now but it does not support WinRAR file compression format at all
Microsoft has now announced that Windows 11 will natively support RAR files.
Furthermore, support for other file compression formats like 7-Zip, tar, and gz will also be added
Microsoft is using the open-source libarchive project to add these formats

Shutterstock is buying GIPHY for $53 million after Meta’s acquisition of the popular GIF platform was blocked by the UK’s competition regulator
Meta bought GIF for around 350$ Million in 2020. But the Deal was declared Invalid by UK competition regulator because Meta can use it for its Monopoly thus harming the competition.
Facebook was left with no choice but to sell it and they sold it at a LOSS for 300$ Million
Although, Meta will retain access to Giphy’s library across its products
Giphy’s platform currently boasts 1.7 billion daily users with searches for GIFs

Meta has been hit with holy $1.3 billion fine (€1.2 billion) by EU data regulators over transferring the Facebook data of EU citizens to the US Data servers
Transferring data to the US is necessary for Meta’s vast ad-targeting operation, which relies on processing multiple streams of personal data from its users
The complaint dates back to 2013 and revelations by whistleblower Edward Snowden about US mass surveillance programs.
Previously, these data transfers were protected by a transatlantic pact known as the Privacy Shield.
But this was declared INVALID in 2020 after the EU’s top court found that it did NOT protect data from being scraped by US surveillance programs
The largest fine record yet was against Amazon in 2021 of €746 million by EU for similar privacy violations which Meta broke now
