USB Type C will be mandatory in Europe now
After a new vote in the European Parliament, the body's rules are confirmed to be adopted by the end of 2024. It was passed with 602 votes in favor, 13 against, and eight abstentions
It means devices using a microUSB or a Lightning port won't be sold in the European Union once the currently unconfirmed 2024 date is reached. Laptops are also included in the legislation, but they won't have to adhere to the rules until 2026 to give manufacturers additional time to prepare for USB type C mandatory.
Apple doesn't use USB-C on its iPhone, and if it wants to continue selling the device in Europe, it'll have to do that or switch to just wireless charging, else iPhones will be banned from selling in Europe, tho apple also conserves the environment by using recycled materials in its products and removing chargers.
The idea here is to help cut down on e-waste as using different chargers across gadgets contributes to technological waste and conserve environment

Elon Musk will buy Twitter
Musk said he would do exactly what he said he would do in April: Acquire Twitter at $54.20 per share
Twitter, which sued Musk in July to force him to go through with the $44 billion deal, has yet to accept his new proposal and plans to add conditions so that he doesn’t change his mind again.
The company could also demand that Musk pay interest on the deal price for the delays in completing the acquisition
Shares of Twitter spiked more than 12% on the news of Musk’s latest offer, before a halt in trading.
Trading resumed in the afternoon, and Twitter’s share price closed at $52, a 22% increase

PlayStation 5 has been jailbreaked
The new experimental WebKit-based kernel exploit works with the latest firmware version 4.50 for the Playstation 5 and older firmwares too.
The new exploit will grant users root access and also to the console’s debug menu. With both of these options unlocked, those that are curious are now free to tinker with the console’s inner workings.
For the time being, due to the limitations of the exploit, users will be able to install but not run PKG files.
Note:-
1) The exploit is unstable and doesn’t work all of the time. It will take several attempts to get it to run properly, and once it does, make sure you exit using the circle button instead of the PlayStation button.
2) The exploit provides read and write access, but no execution access. This means it’s not possible to run applications currently, though memory manipulation is currently possible.
