As part of the Finder Network, your smartphone will report where it detects nearby devices, helping others find their lost devices
As location is being shared, no other info about you or your account is included. The locations you report are encrypted and only visible to the owners of the device.
Working:-
Safety alerts" will let Android users detect nearby Bluetooth trackers like AirTags etc.
Android will alert you if it detects unknown devices that are moving with you.
The feature is code-named RT internally which stands for "Rogue Tag"
Since Safety alerts is a part of Google Play Services which is installed on all GMS Android devices - and there are billions of GMS devices - Android network will be MASSIVE
