MediaTek Dimensity 9600 v/s Dimensity 9500 Geekbench Scores
Last year, while launching the latest Dimensity 9500, MediaTek claimed that their 9500 SoC achieved single-core Geekbench 6.4 scores of 4007.
Now this year, while launching the latest Dimensity 9600, MediaTek claims that the Dimensity 9500 SoC was only able to score 3666 in Geekbench 6.4.
This makes it easier to claim that the latest Dimensity 9600 is 17% more powerful in single-core tasks, because they compared against lower scores. Had they compared it to the previously advertised scores, the Dimensity 9600 represents just a 5% single-core improvement over the 9500.

RDS had been causing connection failures, login issues, and unresponsive management tools after the September update. Hyper-V users also saw crashes when sharing folders with Linux VMs through Plan9. Microsoft additionally fixed a bug affecting some USB Audio Class 1.0 devices in multichannel audio modes.
One known issue remains: some USB Audio Class 1.0 devices may fail to start or produce sound after the September update. If you rely on remote access, virtual machines, or older USB audio gear, this patch is worth installing now.
