Nothing to exit from 12 countries as global shipments decline
Nothing is in the process of shutting down in 12 or more global markets. The exits include the Middle East, Japan and parts of Europe.
In addition, global headcount is being reduced by 40% and the companyβs R&D unit, which is split 70:30 between China and London, is facing layoffs of around 50% and 30 to 40% respectively.
The Phone (4b) has shipped approximately 20,000 units globally since launch, while the Phone (4a) and Phone (4a) Pro have together reached around 150,000 units.
Nothing's sub-brand CMF has no plan of launching any phone in 2026 and the CMF 3 Pro was cancelled in favour of Nothing 4b.
Blame AI data centers for hiking memory, storage and soon SoC prices which leads to increase in smartphone pricing and thus a huge decline in sales

Nothing has responded to the news about low sales and shutting down in 12 countries by saying that it's a FAKE NEWS.
So Nothing is including the sales of Phone 4b in India, whereas the report mentioned the sales globally "excluding India."

Nothing has responded to the news about low sales and shutting down in 12 countries by saying that it's a FAKE NEWS.
Phone (4b) sold 29,537 units on Day 1 only, breaking records in its price segment.
So Nothing is including the sales of Phone 4b in India, whereas the report mentioned the sales globally "excluding India."
We are introducing dedicated business units - including an AI-native business unit - and consolidating individual countries into regional hubs to operate much more efficiently.

The reported numbers are way overblown, and we call on the media to uphold factual reporting and journalistic integrity.
Digit India responded by saying:
gave Nothing Team an entire week to respond to our findings. They had no official statement to offer and denied nothing we reported. Digit stands by its story.

OnePlus's next flagship device, the OnePlus 16 is aimed at gamers. It will target the eSports market and will compete with the iQOO's next flagship, the iQOO 16.
None of the 16's would debut in India or globally and both of them will remain China exclusive only.

Nothing team has been collecting unsold units of Phone 3 from global markets and selling them at a 50% discount in India.
Even after that, stock is running out due to price hikes on smartphones by OEMs, which have now made the Phone 3 a worthy buy from its price-to-specs ratio perspective.

You can now lease Apple Products
Apple has launched "Apple Upgrade," where you can lease an iPhone or Apple Watch for 12 or 24 month lease terms, and iPad or Mac for 24 to 36 months. Lease is provided by Klarna, currently only in the United States. You can lease multiple devices, by leasing each product separately.
Once the lease ends, you can buy your current device outright, upgrade the device, or exit the program. You must either keep your device in good condition, or purchase AppleCare to avoid a damage fee at the end of your lease term. If youβre leasing an iPhone, youβll need to connect to AT&T, T-Mobile, or Verizon when you enroll.
Along with this, Apple is discontinuing the iPhone Upgrade Program.
