ሁለት የወርቅ ሜዳሊያዎች እና የዋንጫ ተሸላሚዋ

ፌቨን ጉርጁ አውግቸው በ2017 ዓ.ም ከባህርዳር ዩኒቨርሲቲ አጠቃላይ የመጀመሪያ ዲግሪ ተመራቂዎች እጅግ ከፍተኛውን ውጤት በማምጣት ሁለት የወርቅ ሜዳሊያዎች እና የዋንጫ ተሸላሚ ሆናለች፡፡

የሳይበር ደህንነት የትምህርት መስክ ተማሪዋ ፌቨን፤ አጠቃላይ ውጤት (CGPA) 4.00 በማምጣት ከትምህርት ክፍሏ፣ ከፋኩልቲዋ፣ ከኮሌጇ እንዲሁም ከአጠቃላይ የዩኒቨርሲቲው ተመራቂዎች ከፍተኛ የሆነውን ውጤት አስመዝግባለች፡፡

ባህርዳር ዩኒቨርሲቲ በዛሬው ዕለት ከ6 ሺህ በላይ ተማሪዎች ያስመረቀ ሲሆን፤ ከተመራቂዎቹ መካከል 111ዱ የሦስተኛ ዲግሪ (PhD) ተመራቂዎች ናቸው፡፡ ዩኒቨርሲቲው በሳይበር ደህንነት የትምህርት መስክ ለመጀመሪያ ጊዜ ተማሪዎችን አስመርቋል፡፡

በአፍሪካ ሀገራት ላይ የሚደርሱ የሳይበር ወንጀሎች በከፍተኛ ፍጥነት መጨመሩ እንዳሳሰበው ኢንተርፖል ገለፀ


ሰኔ 20/2017 ዓ.ም፦ ዓለም አቀፉ የፖሊስ ተቋም (Interpol) በአፍሪካ አሕጉር ላይ የሚደርሱ የሳይበር ወንጀሎች በከፍተኛ ፍጥነት እየጨመሩ መጣቻቸው እንዳሳሰበው ገለጸ፡፡

የኢንተርፖል የ2025 የአፍሪካ የሳይበር ስጋት ግምገማ ዘገባ እንደሚያመለክተው በአፍሪካ አሕጉር ከተፈጸሙ የሳይበር ወንጀሎች ውስጥ በብዛት የተፈጸሙት የሳይበር ወንጀሎች፤ ከማስገር ጋር የተያያዙ ማጭበርበሮች (phishing-related scams)፣ ራንሰምዌር፣ በኢ-ሜይል አማካኝነት የሚደርስ ጥቃት (business email compromise - BEC))፣ እንዲሁም በቁልፍ መሰረተ ልማቶች ላይ የሚሰነዘሩ የሳይበር ጥቃቶ በዋናነት የሚጠቀሱ መሆናቸውን ተቋሙ ይፋ ባደረገው ሪፓርት አመላክቷል፡፡

በአፍሪካ ላይ ለሚደርሱ የሳይበር ወንጀሎች በከፍተኛ ፍጥነት መጨመር አንደ ምክንያት ከሚጠቀሱ ጉዳዮች በዋናነት፤ የሳይበር ጥቃትን በመከላከል ረገድ በአፍሪካ ሀገራት መካከል ያለው ትብብር አነስተኛ መሆን፣ እንዲሁም እጅግ ተለዋዋጭ ከሆነው የሳይበር ምህዳር ጋር አብሮ የማይራመድ የህግ ማዕቀፍ እና የሳይበር ደህንነት መሰረተ ልማት መሆናቸውን ገልጿል።

የሳይበር ደህንነት ጉዳይ ቴክኒካዊ ጉዳይ ብቻ ሳይሆን በአፍሪካ መሰረታዊ የመረጋጋት፣ የሰላም እና የዘላቂ ልማት ምሰሶ ጭምር መሆኑን የገለጸው ኢንተርፖል፤ ይህንን እውን ከማድረግ አኳያ የአሕጉሪቱ አባል ሀገራት ለብሔራዊ የሳይበር ደህንነትና ሉዓላዊነት መረጋገጥ ቅድሚያ ትኩረት ሰጥተው በትብብር መስራት እንደሚጠበቅባቸው አሳስቧል፡፡

ጎግል በክሮም የመረጃ ማፈላልጊያ ላይ ለተከሰተዉ የሳይበር ጥቃት ተጋላጭነት ማስተካከያ ለቀቀ

ጎግል በክሮም የመረጃ ማፈላለጊያ (browser) ላይ የታዩና ቀድሞ ያልተለዩ (zero-day) ተጋላጭነቶችን የሚቀርፍ የደህንነት ማሻሻያዎችን ለቀቀ፡፡
ይህ ክፍተት (CVE-2025-6554) አደገኛ ከሚባሉ ክፍተቶች መካከል የሚመደብ እንደሆነ የገለጸው ጎግል፤ ይህም ክፍተቱ በጥቃት ፈጻሚዎች ዘንድ ከተገኘ አጥቂው በተጠቃሚው ኮምፒዉተር፣ ስልክ ወይም ሌሎች ቁሶች ላይ ጥቃት ማድረስ የሚያስችል እድል እንደሚሰጠው ገልጿል። ከዚህ ከፍ ሲልም ተጋላጭነቱ የእነዚህን መሳሪያዎች ሙሉ ሲስተም ሊቆጣጠር እንደሚችልም አሳውቋል፡፡

በመሆኑም ከዚህ አደጋ ስጋት ለመጠበቅ የጎግል ክሮም የመረጃ ማፈላልጊያ ከዚህ በታች በተዘረዘረው ስሪት መሰረት ማዘመን እንደሚያስፈልግ ኩባንያው አሳስቧል፡፡

በተጨማሪም እንደ Microsoft Edge፣ Brave፣ Opera እና Vivaldi ያሉ ሌሎች በክሮሚየም (Chromium) ላይ ለተመሰረቱ የመረጃ ማፈላልጊያዎች ላይ የክፍተት መሙያ እንደተለቀቁ ተጠቃሚዎች በፍጥነት እንዲያዘመኑም ኩባንያው መክሯል።
