Windows 10 support officially ends on October 14, 2025.
If you're still using it, nowβs the time to upgrade to Microsoft Windows 11 or prepare for the transition -- no more security updates or official support after that date.

LineageOS 23.0 based on Android 16
- Nearly a month later, Google has not released Android 16 QPR1 source, which results in no 23.1 release (that means no Material 3 Expressive for now)
- With Google not releasing the device tree anymore, Pixel models are not guaranteed to get "day one" support, which is the case with this release
- Currently, Linux 5.4 (4.14 and 4.19 backported) and later versions are required to run this version properly
- The initial batch of devices receiving the promotion include Pixel 4a 5G, Pixel 5, and Pixel 5a
- A total of 104 devices are promoted to LineageOS 23.0, whereas other 141 devices continue to receive 22.2 builds, 8 devices on 21.0 are discontinued
- Now you can also run and test LineageOS in virtualized environments much more easily, including Cuttlefish target support
- Mainline kernel support for easier bringups
What's new
- Improved Charging Control and Fast Charge Control
- New ringtones and alarms (from Plasma Mobile)
- Aperture: Support for JPEG Ultra HDR, RAW, and simultaneous RAW+JPEG capture
- Aperture: A redesigned notification island with dynamic colors, and new indicators (JPEG Ultra HDR, RAW, battery, thermal throttling)
- Twelve: Added a "Play random songs" button
- Twelve: Updated the Now Playing screen with playback statistics
- Twelve: Added the ability to rescan the local media store
- Twelve: Expanded Jellyfin integration, including suggestions, favorites, and better thumbnail handling
- Twelve: Added MIDI playback support
- New app: Catapult (Android TV launcher)
More info: LineageOS

Watch live TV channels and listen to the radio even without a SIM, WiβFi, or mobile data
This is made possible by D2M (Direct-to-Mobile) technology, which enables broadcasting without any SIM, WiβFi, or data connectivity
HMD and Lava are planning D2M-enabled phones, while Intel and Tejas have integrated D2M into laptops for offline educational delivery
The technology delivers IP video, audio, and data directly from high-power TV transmitters to smartphones using a downlink-only broadcast waveform
Itβs similar to traditional TV antennas and towers, but this time it uses existing mobile towers, offering even better quality HD and 4K transmission is possible.
It works even for feature phones
However, smartphones need a compatible RF front-end/tuner and baseband.
Accessories are already being planned so that any phone can support this feature.

Oppo Find X9 Pro performed better than Xiaomi 17 Pro Max in Battery Drain Test by WHYLAB.
Both have the same 7500mAh Battery & Xiaomi has 8e Gen 5 which is more efficient than 9500 and still performs worse. This is actually dependent on how the software is being Optimized.
