CNAP portal is now live in some parts of India.

If someone calls you right now, your phone will first flash the Aadhaar name on which the SIM card is issued — even if you’ve already saved that number in your contacts.

The very first identity your screen shows is the Aadhaar-issued name associated with that mobile number. Only after that initial pop-up does your phone switch to the name you’ve saved locally in your contacts or Gmail. So yes, your saved contact appears second — the Aadhaar identity gets priority.

This system runs under the CNAP (Calling Name Presentation) portal,
The idea is to give users a verified caller identity upfront, reducing spam and unknown-call confusion.

Now when someone calls:
- Aadhaar name will appear which is linked to the SIM.
- Even if you already saved contact, the contact name will appear later that.

Work:
- Jio, Airtel & Vi ready with 4G/5G trials (2G excluded for now).
- The feature will be enabled by default, but users can turn it off.

Quick Share now works with Apple’s AirDrop.

You can now share files from Android to iPhones.

Google says the feature is rolling out starting with the Pixel 10 series, built with strong security protections, and will expand to more Android devices soon.

However, it may only be a matter of time before Apple blocks this feature.

Nothing OS 4.0 Stable Update arrived in Nothing Phone 3

New Status Bar Icons, refined UI and improved animations…

Currently, it’s rolling out for Nothing Phone (3).

Other eligible Nothing devices will get it in the next few weeks, followed by CMF phones by year's end. The Nothing Phone 3a Lite will receive it early next year.
